These cutter heads and disk blades are a drop-in replacement for the factory shaver cutter heads, disk blades of the Philips Norelco 8250XL razor. I received the blades approximately 1 month after placing my order. Before using these blades I applied a few drops of WAHL shaver oil (you could also use a lightweight oil such as 3-In-1 oil) to each of the cutter blades. I will update this review once I determine how long these cutter heads, blades continue to provide a good clean shave compared to the factory blades.The first few times I used the new cutter heads the results were not particularly smooth as the cutter head shield and the disk cutter blades need time to break in together for a precise fit. (LPT: Be sure to keep the same disk blade cutter with the same cutter head shield each time you clean the razor as these parts wear in together for a precise fit.)I suggest cleaning the entire razor including removing and cleaning the cutter head shields, disk cutter blades after one week of use or at least every time you charge the razor (approximately every 2 weeks.) I periodically apply 1 drop of the WAHL razor oil to each of the cutter heads after cleaning the cutter shields, cutter blades. (LPT: You can use an old tooth brush to clean the razor and the cutter heads, blades.)I use Williams Lectric Shave electric razor pre-shave each time I use my razor. I apply a drop or two of the Lectric Shave fluid to the exposed top of each cutter head and also apply some of the Lectric Shave lightly to my face. The Lectric Shave quickly dries and leaving a dry lubricant that helps the razor heads glide smoothly. This is especially helpful in warmer, humid weather when the razor heads tends to stick to your skin.

These blades didn't per as well as the original ones that are 14 years old. I sent them back and will continue using the old ones until the razor quits.

Bought these blades to replace the original set in the razor which were about 20 years old. The new blades arrived in about 3 weeks and fit as advertised. However, the cut was terrible. After a couple of uses, I junked them and reinserted the old blades for a much closer cut. Poor quality cut.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! These cutter heads are useless. The old ones I took out were sharper than these.Shipping was extremely SLOW, like three weeks. Poor packaging. They came in just a little envelope, no padding of any kind.Very poor product.
