The are build heavy and I like the short-travel lock
I received these in very quick order. The are build heavy and I like the short-travel lock. Although due to the physical weight, you may not want to carry many of them on your rack for altitude climbing, these carabeners are well suited for anchoring. I actually purchased them for tree work and they will be great for that. I plan on buying more.

Big Heavy duty locking
I got these for my safety chains between the motorhome and my Ford Fiesta tow car. They are solid steel and open easily. The locking feature is flawless. These will make my rigging quicker without sacrificing safety. If you want big heavy duty locking carabiners these are an excellent choice.
