Good kit, I actually had to buy a new hex butted bit, but kit does work well. A must have for a solid wall basement

There's got to be a color alternative other than blue.
These work great. Solid grip and the black color is less conspicuous than the standard blue color. I have not used the drill bit, so I have no opinion on it. If you don't want the screws to stand out, black is the way to go.

Good hold in rock
Built a shed that is attached to my garage and needed these screws to hold a number of 2x4's onto therock exterior of my garage. Be sure to use the exact prescribed diameter drill bit to allow these screws to tightly grip into the rock. These screws worked great for my application .

Exactly what I wanted/needed
Used these for mounting large metal house numbers to our brick house. I used them in conjunction with stand-off spacers and rubber washers on both sides of the numbers.To make things easier and more accurate, I first drilled with a narrower drill bit, then the included one. The screws gripped well.
