Will these screws work with Composite decking ?

In My research prior to purchase, I recall reading that the coated screws work with all composite, hardwood and soft woods. The only thing different per material choice is the thickness of the decking determining the length of screw.

Where are the stainless version of these available?

I'm sorry to say we don't have stainless versions of the longer deck screws, only the standard-length 2" stainless deck screws for 1-1/4" material.

what type if bit shape do they use

It is their own bit. If you get the 525 count the bit comes with it

Will these work on screwing wood to metal?

The Kreg Deck Screws are designed to only screw into wood and not into metal.
