Skin on Skin BC Foundation (Deep Golden)

I'm obsessed with K-Beauty skincare and now, adding this to my next obsession. This BB/CC cream can be used for medium to full meaning you adjust based on how much you use with a sponge or a brush or even your fingers. Leaves a subtle natural glow. Recommend 10/10. I did originally go with Light Medium but exchanged for just Medium-- much better match for me.

I found this brand in a sample kit I had subscribed to. I actually stopped my membership when I found this excellent foundation. It blends super smooth, matches my skin beautifully and wears all day. I love that it covers blemishes and discoloration but doesn’t cake. I’ve never worried about a makeup line on my neck with this foundation because I know it doesn’t leave one. I go 1 shades darker in the summer. I no longer buy drug store foundation. I feel this is a great in-between cost and a high end product. I used this through chemo and radiation and never had a problem with irritation and everything seemed to irritate my skin in active treatment. I recommend this foundation to all my friends and I’ve never been one to push a product. I love the pump on the top feature. It keeps makeup time from getting messy. 1 pump covers my entire face perfectly.

I rarely by the same foundation more than once, but I have bought this over and over again after getting it in a Ipsy bag.With my very fair skin and rosacea, I have often struggled with getting a good mix of coverage and color match that doesn’t cling to dry skin. This foundation covers all my bases. Plus it has skincare and SPF.One pump of this on a foundation brush or blender sponge will cover my whole face. The tube seems to last forever. I wear foundation 5-6 days a week and one tube will last me months and months. If you have used it Cosmetics CC cream, the packaging is the same type. It really gets every last bit of product out.I apply over moisturizer but I skip the primer. It blends flawlessly across my oilier nose and dryer cheeks and forehead. I’ve layered power, liquid, and cream blushes and bronzers with ease. The foundation takes quite a while to dry down. If it’s humid or I’m overheated, I may set with a powder, but I don’t always. My face stays looking great from 8 am into the evening. The color correction is consistent the whole time, key during a rosacea flair.

I purchased this foundation because Erica Taylor on Instagram claimed it was good for mature skin. It is…however, it still does sit on top of my skin just a wee bit (despite a lot of exfoliating). The better version of this type of coverage is the Beautiful Skin foundation by Charlotte Tilbury. It’s similar but way better. Won’t be repurchasing this one.

I was excited to use this because everything it said it had and it was good for mature skin. It is not. It’s greasy looking all day and it rubs off very easy. I even purchased the primer which lacks what it’s supposed to do. I would not recommend either.

Love that I can get it through Amazon instead of direct.
