Poor quality rubber ferrals
Good quality walking poles let down by cheap rubber ferrals only lasted a week of walking 3/4 miles a day.

They do what they are supposed to do, and do it well !
having needed a walking stick for somewhile, the ends wear out frequently, so I needed something that looked more durable, I saw these, measured my stick and hey presto I knew they would fit, so a pack was ordered, they duly arrived the following day, and then the hard work started, trying to get the old one off to start with was like trying to win a fight against Mohamed Ali, after 15 rounds, I got it off, I had in the interim put the new one in a jug of boiling water, I have found that this makes them more malleable, and you can get it on the stick so much easier, especially if you have issues with your hands.Once on it looked the part, the end of the tips have moulded pieces, so that grip is a lot better, I did notice this in recent snow conditions, that the stick did not slip as often as it used too in similar conditions, so a bonus. You get six in the pack, so these should last me two years, based on the previous type I had, but I feel that these will actually last a lot longer, Should there be any issues I will pop back and make it known.

ROUND END REPLACEMENT TIPS FOR TREKKING POLES
“TREKOLOGY” Black Trekking Pole Tip Replacements, 6pieces, Rubber Tips for Trekking Poles and similar walking sticks/ 11mm Hole Diameter - Fit Most Standard Hiking PolesA set of 6 rubber replacement tips for trekking/walking poles. These have a rounded end which gives better grip when using the pole at an angle. These are removed on soft ground but need to be re-fitted when walking on stone or rocks. If used in an urban environment (as a walking stick(s), they are fitted when walking on pavements etc.As they protect the inner spike, it is inevitable that they will wear when used on hard surfaces and after a time the spike comes through and the rubber tip needs replacing.I find it handy to keep a small stock of these tips (say about 5/6) for when they need replacing. They will/should fit most popular trekking poles – they certainly fit all the poles in our house.Priced at just £5.88, it's a small price to pay to have a replacement just when you need one.4 STAR

Solid trecking tips, although brand funnels you to buy them
These tips are durable and better designed than those included with trekology poles. I am pleased with them. It is unfortunate the the included tips with my trekology pole broke so easily so I had to order these. Apparently they are also universally fitting which is a bonus

They’re good to go
My Trek walking poles have a Tungsten tip which is great for on the hill and gripping wet rock,But I also use my poles as a telescopic walking stick around the home, or when I do some shopping or just out and aboutIn these situations it’s nice to have something a bit softer on the tip that doesn’t click everywhere or slip on smooth surfaces or chip floor tiles. Nicer on carpet too. These pole tips are definitely made for purposeHolds up pretty well on wet pavements, quite grippy and positive on contact.I’d probably advise caution on ice just because.I’m not certain but they have a feel of carbon rubber about them like Vibram soles.I'm confident these are very capable for days out on the hill.Nice tight fit.I used a good thump just to make sure this one was on snugly. The only thing is it’s stuck fast so not going to come off easily.Maybe that's a good thing if you aren’t bothered about swapping tips a lot.I’m ok with it and if in doubt hot water and some wiggling usually works.A couple of other things came to mind.1. They protect the tungsten tip from unnecessary wear2. They prevent the metal tips wearing a hole in your rucksack.Yeah, sound, do the job nicely.
