Knife sharp edges and flimsy. Even after filing them down I ended up taping the corners so I don't get slashed open on this. Stupid edge down the middle. Would not recommend. Spend a little more for a decent shelf.

ok so when it arrived I was surprised at how thin the metal was, and was a bit disappointed to see some rust on the welding points, once mounted (which was a bit of a hassle to get everything lined up) it seems sufficiently strong however I had to file down all the edges because they were very sharp and will cut you if you are not careful. Its been working great and I think its a good deal for the price just keep in mind the cons mentioned especially if you are going to mount on a high-hand traffic area.

I wrote this as I am ordering a second shelf, so I do recommend the shelf, but be warned that the wall anchors that the shelf comes with are trash, they will fall into the wall , and you can not push the screw enough to tighten it. Just buy a set of wall anchors and you will be good...also it is hard to access the screws, I had to put a screwdriver head on a ratchet to access them...

I added an extra shelf to my gas BBQ grill below the one original shelf. I made a fairly extensive modification to the shelves so that they overlapped each other a bit, but I was able to use the shelf supports that came in the kit. Works very well for my purpose.

This not a 12x24 shelf, it is two 12x12 shelves. Buyer beware. I was able to make it work for my application, but you may not have the same experience. This was for the black 12x24 model. Unclear how the stainless steel or while models are shipped.
