The hinge seems like it will hold up well. It comes nicely packaged in a gift box, and it arrived the day after I ordered. I purchased one for each of my daughters for Easter. Absolutely fabulous!First impressions when I unboxed this gem was, "WOW, OMG, IT'S ADORABLE AND BEAUTIFUL!"This piece is WAY more than I even expected. I bought it for myself, but what a great gift this would make! When my husband saw it he said he was mad. Mad that HE didn't see it first and buy it for me.😄 I guess he wanted the brownie points for himself.

I’m not sure if I’ll keep this. I collect Russian Faberge copies. This blue one. from China, took a long time yo arrive and seems a bit garish. The red one is somewhat better looking. Not as fine as the Russian ones but will work with the collection. I do not recommend the blue one.

Was pleasantly surprised to see that, as nice as it looked in the photo, actual product looked even better. Well made. The birds and flowers are small yet the enameling was well done. Definitely recommend trinket boxes from the Qifu line.
