They all worked as expected and my invention is now complete.

These LEDs arrived in their own plastic storage case which was taped shut to secure them. I ordered the 3mm version.When they arrived I tested one of each colour in a breadboard and they were all fine with the white one being particularly bright (see pictures).If you enjoy tinkering with or repairing electronics these things are really useful to have to hand and it saves ordering them as required. There’s a good selection and with 150 of each colour they’ll go a long way, even in projects that require several LEDs. At £13.99 for 900 (1.6p each) they’re pretty good value so they get 5 stars.

I bought these as I specifically needed blue and red at the same spec, unfortunately, the blues are 3v, not 2v as advertised, so not compatible.

This sets of LEDs comes in the standard 3mm through hole package, which allows it to be easily used and manually soldered to the PCB or wire leads. It comes with different colours that is quite handy to be used as indicators as most of the LED don't produce much light as they are not designed to be used as a lighting device except the white LEDs.

Nachschub für die DIY-Bastelkiste oder den Modellbahn-Freund. Mit 100 LED ist man erstmal bis auf Weiteres gerüstet. Zu den Dioden gibts reichlich wenig zu sagen. Ich habe die 3mm-Versionen in Rot erhalten und stichprobenmäßig getestet - alles prima. Die Bauart unterscheidet sich natürlich nicht von anderen. Bei der Benutzung muss man ein wenig Acht geben. Sie sind nur für ca. 2V ausgelegt, also nicht direkt am ESP32 oder Raspi etc. betreiben, sondern Vorwiderstand verwenden. Ausserdem sollten sie beim Löten nicht zu lange zu heiß werden. Der Hersteller gibt 260°C über 3s an, was für geübtes Personal am Lötkolben eigentlich ausreicht. Alles in Allem spricht für mich nichts gegen fünf Sterne
