why does this thing suck so bad?

I got a fake R36s. the boot partition had all different files, no boot.ini... it didn't come with the brand of games I was looking for, and was claimed would be there for an R36S. I Cannot upgrade Arkos, it can't find a system when i try, even using images for clones. I did manage to image/backup the included SD card and make a working copy and add some games to a second SD card, but to do that, I had to manually copy the SD cards game partition files to the 2nd card first.(Real R36s has menu fuctions for that) In the end, the fake will do what I bought it to do, and it plays well, but it was more difficult to get it there. so, 3 stars...

Awesome device but fair warning not all the games work. This is a known issue with memory cards that come with these game devices. So it is best to swap out for a more trusting SD.Other than that it is very fun. Good battery. Comfortable buttons. The analogs will take a bit to get used to but it’s not bad.

Didn’t boot past start up screen when initially turned on.

Wow! My earlier days came rushing back once I figured out how to use this game. The instructions are not too clear. But it's not too difficult to figure out. This Handheld game has all of the games from your past whether they are on Ninetendo original, Super Ninetendo, Sega Genesis, or Sony Playstation. There are other systems as well, some of which I've never heard of. I couldn't believe that I was playing Donkey Kong Country and Earthworm Jim 2! The game has good color and decent graphics. This is a very fun game and it would make a great gift for those of a certain age. As you scroll through screens, different controllers come up and that's how you tell which system you're on. Then, there is a subset of games you can play from that system. It sure beats buying all of those systems and games again! Love this!
