I have one other wood watch, a Bewell, which has been a very good watch. But the Bewell is much larger and heavier. This is a gorgeous watch and yes, the photos on Amazon do not do it justice. The wood is not the bright yellowish color in the photos, but instead it is a much less brassy color. Just beautiful, really.A cautionary note: I had to remove one link for a perfect fit. A small tool is included with instructions for doing so. After reading the instructions it advises that you have a jeweler handle the task. I would say that that is good advice. In removing a link I managed to split the wood on one of the links and had to scramble to remove and rearrange a couple of links to replace the busted link.So, yeah, it is very pretty, but it is also VERY delicate. If you decide the remove links, then proceed very carefully. Use a very very small hammer in removing the pin.

I bought the watch as a gift for my husband. After two hours of wearing the "NATURAL EBONY WOOD" was scratched and peeled. POOR QUALITY.I did not notice until I had it on my hands but roman number 4 is not "IIII" the correct way is "IV".Have contact seller with no response. Money thrown in the trash, I don't live in USA so it is difficult and expensive to return.

The company contacted me after reading my review below offering me refund or replace. Very professional so changed from 1 to 3 stars. However, I opted to renounce only because logistically speaking I'm no longer in US. My old message...was be a gift but arrived with second hand broke and dead battery. Too difficult and delicate to shorten wristband so took to local jeweler to remove second hand($8), new battery($10) and band size adjustment ($5). However, he said the casing was poorly made and unable to open face to remove second hand because it would break nor was he able to replace battery with its type of underside opening.

Ok, so it's more than what I expected. It comes packaged on a pillow for display and to protect it during shipping. It comes with a Chain Breaker, so you can easily change chain sizes for your wrist. The wood looks very elegant. The Watch Face is very simple and straight forward. Great for Job Interviews, Office Meetings, or any time I am trying to make an impression. It was easy to set the watch, and it keeps track of the date as well. It has a double latch on the wrist band, to make it easier to fit over large arms.

Great piece. I bought it with some hesitation, as it looked too good to be true. I thought, either it's not really wood, or it is but looks much worse than in the photos. The fact of the matter is that I was wrong. It looked more beautiful in person than in the photos, and the craftsmanship is more than apparent. It comes with instructions to re-size the wrist band — which I'll absolutely have to do, as my wrists are tiny — and the instructions call for using a specialized needle to pull out the band pins. Lo and behold, the box brings the pin right inside (again, just as advertised, I just hadn't read that part). This was a good buy, and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to show up looking differently.I have never liked nor owned a watch with the shiny links on the wrist band, as to me they look horrible (just my personal taste). This one made out of wood is a fantastic alternative.

So far so good. Have only worn it once since I got it in early October. Watch is very nice and stylish. Very lightweight. Love the tool that comes with it to remove links. Hope the watch lasts. Seems like decent quality for the price.

My dad was a woodworker and when I gave him this watch he was so surprised and speechless. He is very hard to buy for but always thankful for whatever he's given, but this was a different reaction. HE LOVED IT! It is a beautiful watch, works well and send to be very solid. I can't tell you a lot about durability because he said it's too nice to wear every day. I told him the little dings and scuffs will only add to it's beauty over time, just like a beautiful piece of furniture. He still only wears it if he's leaving the house and for good occasions. Besides, if it broke, I'd just but him another one, it's that nice! It's also lightweight. I gave him the oak watch. It's the lightest color and will likely get darker with age.

Like the style overall, very light and seems to be durable. Major problem is its ability to keep time accurately (important for a watch). I am assuming that the gears were placed slightly off, as the face does not match the actual time. For instance, when the watch is supposed to read 3:00pm, the hour hand is well past the 3. I paid under 30 dollars, and it was a complete waste. Would send it back but I noticed after I threw the packaging away.

Esteticamente l'orologio è molto carino (arrivato in tempi perfetti e con gli accessori per sistemare il cinturino. Peccato che il cinturino sia fragile e la meccanica scarsa. Nel giro di un mese non funzionava più ed era anche un regalo… figuraccia.

Diese Uhr ist super verarbeitet und hat einen tollen Look. Sie trägt sich hervorragend und fu lt sich natürlich an. Eine sehr auffallende und schöne Uhr.
