I was actually a bit surprised at the quality of this belt when it came in. Got it for our trip to Renfest and it was pretty close to the quality we saw for sale there. At a much more reasonable price. Seems like it will hold up to quite a bit of use.

I got this to use for SCA events where I have to have everything period. I already had a belt and choose to keep using it because this belt if fairly thin and flimsy and I wasn't sure it would be able to stay up under the weight of all my belt favors and pouch. The pouch however is great. Very nicely made and the clasp is easy to open and close which is so much nicer then the last pouch I had. It's not quite in period but it's close enough I doubt I'll get in trouble. Perfect size to hold my massive phone, some cash, some ID cards, and random tokens. The belt loop is great too. I don't know what it's for in the context of steam punk but in the SCA I'm using it as a mug loop. Very nice and was able to carry my massive mug without issues. Very happy with the pieces.

With costume pieces, I have low expectations. However, this was my second attempt at a pirate belt, after the first one I ordered was worthless.This one more than met my expectations.The belt is a nice material that feels durable and looks good. The bag fits on the belt nicely and gives a great option for holding cell phone, wallet, etc. It suits my costume perfectly, and I'm almost disappointed that it doesn't suit my style for daily wear.

All of the pouches and belt are a plasticy faux pleather. Very low quality and not durable however it is fantastic for a costume you will wear 6 hours a year.

I got this for a steampunk vest that needed cinched in at the waist, with the added benefit of not needing to carry a purse while in the outfit. Despite having a chunky decoden case, my phone fits with room for my wallet and a small coin purse. I could probably cram in a chapstick and tissue pack if I wanted too.I didn't want to wear it with the hanging part like in the photo so I was pleased to find it has one stationary belt loop and one mobile one, with tons of holes. Here I've moved the mobile loop around behind me so it could hold the rest of the belt length in place. My waist is about 30in. and at a comfortable cinch it still had about 4 more holes that could be tightened, and many more on the other end for it to be loosened. It's a little odd to me for it to come with a single skirt hike as well but I guess it can be used for other things. I was thinking of getting a decorative ring of keys or something to hang there.And you'll be unsurprised to learn that calling this thing leather in the description is quite the stretch. It feels like any other fake leather, very slightly softer than the thick pleather purses are made out of. But it feels tough enough and I don't personally care or expect for something like this to be made with real leather. So depends on what you're looking for.

No, this isn't like the artisan hand crafted leather pieces you CAN get, but it also isn't even CLOSE to the price of those pieces either. This IS a really nice piece, that will hold up to prolonged use. At this price, this is a steal.

The pouch is better quality than others I have received of this type. Color is nice, size is nice, clasp hooks well. Easy to use. The belt is not as good quality. The buckle prong was put on backwards on mine. It is 49-50 inches but it does not hang down like the picture on either of us. Perhaps on a kid or a very thin adult.You can still wear the belt as a normal belt or get another one and attach the pouch to it. The pouch really is nice so i think it is worth it even if just wanting the pouch.
