I’ve used other pass throughs that were more expensive but don’t compare in quality. I’m highly impressed with the build on these. I won’t use any other kind in the future.

As advertised and works great

Easy to install! I used these to run 12v battery power and ground to the inside dash of my project. I ran two lines(+&-) on the outside of the fender skirt to inside the dash. That way I don’t need to run all the wires to the battery. Make for a much cleaner install. I didn’t want any wires in the engine compartment.

Heavy duty. Worked great for my battery packs. DO NOT OVER TORQUE! Maximum torque according to Fastronix is 212 in lb. Edit: until I had to undo them. One of the nuts jammed and the stud sheared off. Had to buy another set because I've committed to the form factor. Edit: I was able to talk direct with Fastronix regarding the failure. The product has a MAX torque specification of 212 in lb. This torque information was not provided on the product packaging and there was no associated documentation provided with the document. The failure when removing the nut may have been caused by initial over-torquing.

Well made with good hardware included. Have purchased at least 5 of these. Use them for solar energy storage, custom battery boxes.

So far definitely work as described. Only down side is the size of the hole you have to drill but it is what it is.

I need to provide pass-through DC connection in an outdoor shed with plywood siding. Drilling a hole with a hole saw is easy. The thick plastic shank and flanges will seal the hole and protect the connection inside and out. The slight issue (-.5 stars) is that the bolts are longer than necessary. Wire connections will be made with flat ring connectors. Torquing the nut down requires a deep-well socket which I happen to already own; however, this would not be necessary if the bolt were 1/4" shorter on both ends.
