I would buy and use this product
The media could not be loaded. This is my first time trying matcha of any kind, and I can't say I am a huge fan of the flavour as it reminds me of alfalfa. Given the product is not straight matcha (only 17%), I can't just blame the matcha. Regardless it is a flavour I have become used to the more I drink it. The listing provides information on the benefits of this product, and I can't say I have noticed them as yet. I think that I would need to be consuming it for a longer period for noticeable changes. The product uses bovine collagen so this is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. For me the collagen is flavourless, I didn't notice any meaty flavour. Also, I can not taste the cinnamon. I would be happy if there was more of that (cinnamon). The instructions on the packet say to use 6g per serving, and I reached out to Ancient + Brave to confirm how much 6g was; it's 1 teaspoon. With each package (150g) you should get around 25 servings. I say around because it is very difficult to measure 6 grams accurately so you may get more (or less) depending on how you dish out a teaspoon. Some other reviewers have suggested a measuring spoon be included, however, it is obvious that Ancient + Brave also cares about the environment and sourcing a compostable or environmentally friendly measuring spoon would increase the cost to the consumer. At the current price (assuming you get 25 servings), that's 96 pence per serving, for your health and well-being I think that is money well spent, and it's only slightly more than purchasing five takeaway coffees. The drink becomes dark (green) the longer it sits, so if you let it sit make sure to stir it.I love that they have used organic ingredients (as much as possible). The packaging says it is UK made and the collagen is EU sourced. The packaging is free-standing, compostable, re-sealable, and doesn't take up a lot of space in the cupboard making it a product that is good for me and the environment.

Nice combination of health supplements
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers. This powder contains a good mix of health supplements in a single mix, although I'm not sure of the benefits if taking collagen orally. For me, the main reason for this powder would be the matcha green tea and the lions mane mushroom, both of which have tried and tested health benefits and have been used in Eastern diets for many years. Whether or not there are any health benefits from this particular supplement will only be seen over time, but as it contains proven ingredients I have no reason to doubt its efficacy. Some people like the taste of matcha, but on the whole it isn't considered to be a particular pleasant flavour so you may want to mix it with another drink to mask the flavour (or supplement it with honey). That being said, you're taking it for its health benefits, not for the flavour! It isn't cheap and you can certainly find the same ingredients in other products for less money, but Ancient + Brave are known for their ethical and environmental practices (an example of which is the compostable packaging) so if your concern extends beyond your own health to that of the planet and the farmers producing the ingredients then you could argue that the extra cost is a small price to pay.

A good combintation to compliment the matcha
So as i already drink quite a lot of green tea and herbal teas, when i mentioned that this product was available to test with my daughter, she seemed to know more about it than i imagined. Its origins are a finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves originating in China traditionally consumed in East Asia. Its now mainly produced in Japan, however this 150g free standing, compostable re seal pouch says its UK made and the collagen is EU sourced. This is of particular interest to me as it comes with 1000mg of Lions Mane Mushroom per serving and there is also 2500mg of hydrolysed Collagen as well, so overall i am more than happy to use this daily for a nice warm green tea drink with those other elements included, of which Lions Mane was already a daily feature in my supplement intake. It has a good shelf life on this particular batch if your not ready to start using it straight away or your buying it as a gift, mine has January 2025, so i am more than confident that we will get through this pretty quickly.Serving suggestion is 6g of the powder which is a fraction over a measuring spoon of 1tsp (5g) if you have them in your kitchen, mixed to a paste with a little hot water and then mix with milk of your choice. If you can't do milk or any milk alternatives, i guess you can stick to hot water, that is my plan to be honest.
