Looks great. Feels great. Works great.
Gone are the days of garlic lasting no longer than my ex boyfriend, because this little beauty is keeping my garlic fresher than anything else I’ve ever used. It has that lovely cold terracotta feel to it. Looks great too; I’ve had loads of compliments. You can fit a few bulbs in it at a time. I’ve attached a photo of a large garlic bulb inside it for your reference, so if you’re looking for something small in size to accommodate just one or two bulbs, then this may not be for you, so check the dimensions. I checked with the seller about the direction of the holes and was advised they can be facing any side. This would look good in any kitchen and make a great gift for someone who loves their kitchen bits, or just loves garlic. If you’re looking for something to store away in a cupboard, then I reiterate to note the size as this isn’t small and the lid isn’t air tight - it just sits on top, so it could easily fall off if you would need to be reaching up to get this down from a cupboard/shelf. Having said that, in my opinion, this is something that should be out on the work top, not hidden away. Complements any kitchen. Thoroughly recommend.

Well made
A bit held up in delivery but worth the few extra days wait. I have been trying to get a pottery garlic holder for ages to replace my rusting metal one. This is just what I wanted, robust and practical. Item well packaged and looks well in my kitchen. Great

Fresh garlic guaranteed
A stylish and functional garlic cellar. It will keep your garlic fresh for weeks (even ones forgotten for over a month were usable (because they did not dry out too much.) Garlic does not sprout or mould if kept in here. I can also say that it does not let any garlic odour out, even though there are large ventilation holes on the side of it.It is of a generous size, will hold about 3-4 garlic heads. Easy to open and reach inside to retrieve your garlic cloves.Would definitely recommend this.

Nice garlic pot
Nice design, replaces very old terracotta pot that broke. This is bigger overall than that one yet, pleasingly, takes up no more worksurface space. Arrived well packed and in good condition.

A great add on to your kitchen!
This is a great little ceramic (terracotta to be precise) garlic holder that can spice up your kitchen any day! It has holes to keep your garlic fresh and the terracotta will not interfere in the storage of garlic. The obvious note is that this is fragile so be careful during transportation or placement in your kitchen but once you find a stable home to it, it's good as gold!

Good sized garlic pot
Bought as a gift. Good size better than mine. Easily holds 3 bulbs. Easy to clean. I feel that Terracotta holders, salt pigs etc are better than glazed ones as they breath however remember to never put unglazed terracotta in a dishwasher or it will crack.

Delighted
When I broke my earthenware garlic keeper I was sure I would have to buy something different which wouldn't match everything else in the kitchen. But joy there it was . I am delighted.

Beautiful, well made, strong.
This garlic cellar has heft. The bottom has a mass of 620 g and the lid is 200 g. The sides are 1/4" thick and the lid is 0.35" thick with a 0.18" lip. The cellar breathes through the holes and directly through the unglazed ceramic. It easily fits 4 regular sized heads of garlic. In addition I was able to store two more heads with a couple of cloves removed from each for a total of 4+2. This cellar seems to strike the right balance between being too well sealed resulting in mold and too much ventilation resulting in the garlic drying out. My garlic is keeping well. At $38.60 this seemed extravagant but I am happy with the purchase and would buy it again at that price.

Absolutely Perfect!
This is the third storage container I've tried to save my garlic and it's the first that's worked! The first I tried was a fabric-lined burlap storage back - the garlic molded right away. The second was a glazed ceramic container that had a section for onions on the bottom and garlic on the top - it worked okay, however the bottom was too small for the onions which rotted quickly and the top was way too large for garlic which didn't keep very well either and overall that container was just too large on the counter (I feel like I sound like goldilocks). THIS, however, this terra-cotta container for garlic has been the perfect fix!!! I still need to figure out how to store my onions properly, but at least the garlic is taken care of. This container is also small - doesn't take up a ton of space on the counter and it looks really nice!

Worth the splurge
After an extensive search and in-depth research on garlic storage, this is really the ONLY appropriate product available. Yes, it is pricy but I intend on keeping it forever. It is not glazed inside or out. It is ample size to hold at least 4-6 small heads of garlic. It will even accommodate an 'elephant' size garlic bulb. It is also a sturdy weight and does not seem fragile at all.

This garlic keeper is perfect! It’s not too big (I took a picture of it with a jar of peanut butter for a frame of reference), but it will hold 4-5 large bulbs. I love the design and because it’s not too big, won’t take up too much counter space.
