The Key Features (The Pros): Effortless Setup (No Hub Required!): Installation was incredibly simple. I screwed in the bulb, downloaded the WiZ app, and the bulb was connected to my 2.4 GHz WiFi network within minutes. It works seamlessly with Alexa and Google Home right out of the box. Brilliant Colour & Tunable White: The colour range is fantastic—vibrant and rich for setting the mood for parties or movie nights. More importantly, the tunable white light is excellent, allowing me to switch from cool, productive daylight (perfect for working) to warm, cozy soft white (great for winding down). Built-in Motion Sensor Functionality: This is the most underrated feature. You can program the bulb to turn on automatically when motion is detected in its area (e.g., in a hallway or utility room) and turn off after a set time. This makes the bulb exceptionally smart for automation and security without needing a separate sensor on the wall. Scheduling and Scenes: The app is intuitive for setting up schedules (e.g., wake-up light scenes) and pre-set lighting moods. The bulb is high quality with a variety of available colours and colour combinations on it as well. Easy to install took 2 minutes and once the app was downloaded took even less to connect it up and get working. Puts off a great amount of light capable of filling a large room and also can be dimmed if necessary.

Really brill idea. Full control from phone app from anywhere. Can have light in any colour you want but there is a great range of pre-sets including for watching TV (makes screen more vibrant for me) plus night light mode perfect for bedrooms if need to get up in night without blasting your eyes. Also fun modes. Great to turn light on and off from comfort and warmth of bed! Can schedule so I use it to supplement my alarm clock. Fully recommend and I didn't realise what I was missing.... one of my top useful purchases for something so inexpensive. This WiZ smart bulb exceeded my expectations in most areas. Setup was simple I had it connected to Wi-Fi and the app in under 3 minutes, no hub needed. The WiZ app is surprisingly user-friendly, letting me control brightness, set schedules, and switch between warm white, cool tones, and full RGB with ease. The color range is vivid, especially for ambient setups. I’ve used it both as a main light and mood lighting for movie nights, and it performs well in both cases. The brightness is strong enough to light a medium room, and dimming is smooth with no flickering. It also responds well to voice commands through Alexa. I’ve had no delays or connection drops so far, and the scenes feature is a nice touch when switching between tasks or settings. Only small issue is that color accuracy isn’t always perfect. Some shades like deep red or teal lean slightly off from what’s shown in the app, and while it’s not a dealbreaker, it’s noticeable if you’re trying to match a color theme. Overall, a reliable and well-rounded smart bulb that competes well with pricier brands.

These are great! only couple quid more than an an ordinary bulb, but can dim down easily from your phone, to adjust the amount of glare, or choose a fun colour or mood- plenty of options. Easy to set up with the wifi. Already had one in another room (it is far from the router so sometimes doesn't quite get reception, though this one closer to the hub never has any delay)

Fast delivery, arrived on time. Connects to Wiz app and Apple HomeKit easily. Good choice of colours and settings. Particular enjoy the progressive ones for bedtime and wake up as it is in the bedroom lamp. Dimmable and colour changing. Easy to control with voice and app. Setting scenes helps with greater control options via voice and HomeKit. Still working on this. Good quality and compatibility with my devices.

These work well and were much easier to set up than the G10 bulbs I bought many years ago (the old ones didn't like my mesh wifi and one of them keeping conection to my wifi so can't be controlled without being reset all the time). No such issues with the new ones. These bulbs were simple to set up and name. Alexa intergration also works well (Although Alexa does try to set them up for you, without asking first. So I did end up with a number of unwanted lights in the Alexa app that I didn't want Who wants lights labled Light 1, 2, 3, 4 etc ? I had to delete all the extra items from Alexa to avoid confusion. I just wanted lights named after the appropriate rooms. This is an Alexa problem not Wiz. Overall very happy with the bulbs.

'Smart' bulbs seem to be really expensive and / or really complicated to set up. I stumbled across these WiZ bulbs more or less by accident and I'm glad I did. They're reasonably priced, easy to install and work with Apple HomeKit and Alexa.

Excellent product, super easy to set us and very handy product

Set up was a bit tricky and sometimes the app isn't syncing with the build (saying it's off when it's on, not allowing me to use the music syncing feature etc). But overall a fun product.

App is integrated with Shortcuts on apple for automation. Very responsive.

it doesn't work I followed all the steps to connect it to my phone to try change the colour but nothing

love these not so much their app how ever every time I try and do something it will do it but keeps coming up with an error message and it wont do mm wave or spacial recognition as advertised and keeps telling me some thread networks will effect this which i think is a pain other then that love these
