I am new to be keeping the bees love this but should I be feeding this all year round does it stop the bees from foraging

The bres love it
I don’t know about the medicinal benefits but the bees love it. I use it like giving the dog a bone. A 6 cm slither on the hive entry point on a cool or damp day keeps the bees very busy and happy for yhe day. Maybe i could get similar reaction with pure fondant but i hope this brings something rxtra.

Came just in time, not sure if I opened it as well as there were little instructions but let them forage and unwrapped the rest as the bees couldn't access the corners without getting trapped in the plastic :(
