EASY TO USE
I have been using H & R block tax software for several years now and have not once ever been disappointed with its ease of use - quit some time ago I used another company software and they drove me up a wall with having an explaition for every entry. A couple of times I needed to call support - I was amazed at how fast they responded and solved by issue. I would not use any other tax software and I highly recommend it to my associates.

Does all the forms
I like the Basic version because it seems to do all the forms, including most of the obscure ones. Most people will have no need to pay for more expensive versions if you are modestly adept at taxes.

Could not e file
Last years return was mailed in. Bought software but could not e-file even though I had AGI from last year and followed instructions to put 0 in For AGI. Return was rejected with both methods. So need to mail in again this year. Do not think I will purchase again since I bought so I could e-file.

Awesome tax program
I've been using the H&R Block tax program for several years. Highly recommend. Great price compared to competitor.

Unable to activate
I've used this software on my mac for years and like it, but this year's version will not activate. I've worked with their support team twice and still won't activate. I think the activation form is defective as it won't let me select a source of purchase, and it may be required to do so, so when I click to activate or skip activation nothing happens. If they don't call me back with a solution in the next couple days I will ask for a refund.

It works on my Windows 11 pro
Previous reviewer said it didn't work on Windows 11 Pro. I installed it on my Win 11 Pro desktop (complete with the latest updates, Version 23H2, AMD Ryzen 9, 32gb, 2TB M.2) and it installed with no issues. Plus, with the Amazon deal I saved $5 over the special direct sale from HR Block. Since I haven't filed yet, I cannot address how well it works this year, but I have used it now every year since 1996 when it was called TaxCut. It was always easy to use and gave me good results.
