Great quality, no fraying
This is great quality, there is little to no fraying even after being cut. I still use a flame to melt the edges after each cut but there are very few hanging threads to be seen. It is thick, does not seem to stretch, and feels like it will last for a long time. The color is a dark black as it is supposed to be. So many different uses for this kind of material, I'm glad I have a lot left over for future use.

Good quality - Easy to sew and rivet
This is the second time ordering strapping from Strapworks. Both orders are to replace old worn strapping on ratchet tie downs. Sewing the strap is easy. I use a Brother CE8080 with a "walking Foot" attachment and polypropylene thread for upholstery; which doesn't stretch. Where the two pieces meet, sew a line at the edges ( a square or rectangle) and an "X" in the middle. As to riveting: To reinforce the sewing I used 3/16" aluminum blind rivets with washer backers.Four of the straps I've replaced are ratcheting tie downs used to anchor a tubular steel carport canopy frame to the cement driveway with cement sleeve anchors. Also, after replacing the cover fabric twice in one year due to wind damage, I installed corrugated roofing panels to the frame instead. Three additional straps are wrapped over the outside and bolted to the ground to keep the panels tight to the frame. We've already weathered a 65 mile-an-hour dust storm in Phoenix just last week. My neighbor's palm tree was blown down on top of his truck. But, my carport? The strapping held as if the wind wasn't blowing at all.Good stuff, this. Better that the original strap that came on the tie downs.

Just what we needed for fireman
My firefighter husband orders hockey tape to add to his tools for better grip. He asked me to get this for him and was very happy with the product. It works perfectly for what he needed and helps identify and hold his tools.

Nice quality
This is a nice heavy duty strap material. I needed some to repair an ice fishing Hut. And it fit the bill perfectly. Plus I've got a lot to spare

I bought these to rebuild blower straps. You probably could use it for other things.
I bought this for work, we have a lot of old blowers, and after so many years of use and stretching and sweat the strap tears. Getting these has enabled me to give the strap a new lease on life at the bottom where it always fails. It’s significantly cheaper to get it like this Versus buying a brand new strap every time for a blower. I also feel it would be useful for a backpack.
