Top 10 of 2025
I bought this after I seen the top 10 detectors or 2025. It was number 3. I own a snap on detector which is actually a inficon which was number 1 on list but this one is far better bang for the buck. The charger is a c type also which I like better than buying batteries for.

Great tool at a great value
I purchased the idl300 and it arrived yesterday. Today, during a service call I was able to confidently confirm a leak in a r410 evaporator coil. The detector has already paid for itself. It’s a steal compared to some of the detectors on the market. I really hope it holds up.

Alarm was not accurate
It arrived used, but new. I used it and it would trigger an alarm on my finger, which was not accurate because I hadn't messed with anything in over 24hrs. Out of curiosity I breathed on the sensor and it alarmed and went crazy. Unless I'm made of refrigerant and just didnt know it, I'd safely say this thing is junk
