I purchased this box to secure the connections between the my outdoor fountain power and lights to dual plug smart outlet on my outdoor extension cord. The box was easy to mount under my deck with the included hardware, and the dimensions on the website were accurate and I was able to run three cords into the box from underneath. The box came with a peel-off plastic covering to protect the translucent lid during shipping, and rubber plugs were included to close off the wire holes if I didn't use them. The rubber gasket insures that the lid keeps water out, and the latches really hold it tightly shut.

We did order a ‘clear’ box but received a smoke grey cover. Wanted the clear because we set up an outdoor water feature which would turn water on at dusk and off by daylight. But so far it’s working good enough.

We used this for the connection to a warming pad and an outdoor extension cord for a pet house. I also slid the box inside an empty plastic litter to protect it further from the drenching downpours we had this winter and it works great. Very tight and waterproof!

Perfect for my application. I have an exterior outlet in my yard for my pond pump and landscape lighting. I wanted to add an air pump for the pond, but needed one extra plug, so I purchased a 3 outlet multi strip and it fit perfect in this box. Now all three electric lines run through the bottom of this box and plug in to the multi strip and then the multi strip runs back out of the bottom and back to my outlet. now I have and extra plug at the outlet for any future needs.

The media could not be loaded.  I built a box to house the electrical for my boat. It has inlets on one side that are relatively watertight and should be no problem on a splash area. It cuts easy and mounts easy. Great project box!

The box was easy to setup and attach to the deck using the provided accessories. Just added 4 wood screws.It seems properly sealed, but winter will be the real test. At least the transparent cover will make it easier to notice before any damage.Overall it's a roomy and clean looking box. I don't use all the space, but it's nice to have extra ports and dry space for seasonal needs, while keeping it all tidy.

I needed more outlets out by my koi pond, where I have a waterproof gfci outlet. I mounted this box nearby.Now I can power a pump for waterfall, UV algae light and motion detector led floodlights. Maybe I will add another small submersible pump for a water spewing frog statue.

I am putting this over an outdoor electrical outlet, and need something big like this so I can leave some AC to DC adapters plugged in. To do this, I plan to cut out part of the back, and seal to a wall with a gasket or silicone.

Not cheap to protect outdoor christmas lights power adapter from upcoming Canadian snowy winter but really good quality and easy to install onto siding. Does the trick very well. Bought a second one.
