Ear protector
Very easy to use

Not perfect but does the job if you're careful
Covers whole of the ear but water can still get in. I pressed a flannel against the item while I washed my hair, this, for me, assured a fairly good seal. Not an ideal way to wash your hair but needs must and there isn’t much better on the market - so would still recommend.

Not watertight and a little overpriced
I got these to try to help protect my new cartilage piercings while showering. No matter how you put them on, there is always a gap between the ear and head so water will get in, calling them "waterproof" is rather misleading. They do however, work well for keeping hair products away from the piercing so do mostly work for my purpose. I can also see how these might be useful for keeping hair dye from staining ears and I'll probably try them for that in the future.I'd give four stars if it wasn't for the misleading advertising, even though I did not expect them to actually be waterproof as I'm sure most people don't, marketing something that isn't as that is just not very good.

No more dyed ears!
These covers are ideal for when colouring my hair so don’t end up with staining on them. Have also been helpful for keeping new piercings covered while washing hair to keep the shampoo away. Yes, water will get into them so if you’re looking for something to stop water entering your ears then this product isn’t it. But it’s perfect for what I wanted at a very reasonable price. This is my second purchase of them and had no issues with quality.

Good idea, poor end product
So, the thought of a cover for my wife's ear to stop water getting in when showering due to a severe ear infection was put to us by my sons girlfriend. We found these on Amazon and thought wow this is just what we need so we ordered and waited for the delivery with great anticipation. Costs were low and delivery was fast and when tried on they fit nicely around the ear. Unfortunately this is where the positives end.If you want to keep water out of your ears this is not the product for you. These fill up with water as the seal or very much lack of, allows water into the protector which then begins to fill up like a water balloon. The waterproof part of the name is definitely misleadin unless you want to try and glue these things to the side of your head. We've ended up giving the other 98 to our daughter to use as shower caps for her dolls.

Not necessary for covering ear in the shower
Bought this as i had a surgery and needed to cover my ear while showering and i would say it really doesn't make a difference, water still seep in. Will stick to the vaseline and cotton wool. This would be more useful if you are dyeing your hair

Perfect after ear operation or for ear infection
These have been a huge help, my son had ear surgery and was instructed to keep his ear dry for minimum of 2 weeks. These worked great, we used a small piece of first aid tape to secure the plastic at the front of the ear to ensure no water got in. The covering is baggy enough that you can pull some of it forward and secure it in front of where the elastic sits for extra protection, so no water gets under the elastic at the front of the ear.
