Lots of Useful Safety Features
Good little mobile phone for kids.Works seamlessly with 4G networks. The phone has no cameras, so parents can be sure kids aren't using it to take images/videos of themselves then sending these to other people or sharing them online. For further peace of mind, the phone comes preloaded with CoPilot, which lets parents remotely restrict access to apps on the g-mee Connect Pro, set time limits for the phone's use, and - importantly - track the phone's location using the Find My Kid's Device feature. Another useful safety feature of CoPilot is that it allows parents to create an Allow List specifying who can call and send texts to the g-mee Connect Pro user. CoPilot also allows parents to create a Block List (which, unsurprisingly, specifies numbers that cannot call or text the g-mee Connect Pro phone). Blocking can be done on an individual number basis. It's also easy to mass-block calls and texts from all numbers not in the Allow List, or to block calls and texts to/from unknown numbers. The large full-colour touchscreen is bright, responsive and sensitive. The phone has decent build quality. One negative point - and it's the only one, really - is Android 13, which is the most user-unfriendly operating system I've ever come across. It's cluttered with far too many apps, most of which are like digital versions of IKEA: easy to get into, but once in there, you find that it's impossible to achieve what you came for, and to make things worse, it's sometimes difficult to find your way back out. That's my experience of the operating system, anyway - it's a messy, chaotic clanjamfrie. But if your kid likes Android, this could be an ideal mobile phone for him/her. In terms of safety features, it's excellent. The price is fair for what you get.
