This product provides a really fun addition to evening bonfires, camping trips, or other after dark activities. After trying them out, the lights are bright enough to make them visible even in pitch black conditions. While swinging rackets around in the dark may not always be a great decision, the birdies themselves are very easy to see.One of the other things I really liked about them was how they actually look authentic. They don't have the cheap plastic appearance that I'm used to with badminton birdies. I'm not sure how they will hold up after repeated use, but it can't be any worse than what I'm used to.For the price, I think this was a great buy and it will provide a lot of entertainment for my family over the summer. I suppose you can't expect too much durability from natural feathers, but these bust up right away. The feathers crush, the led pops off, the tip flies away...all during the first game. I will opt for synthetic materials going forward.

I can't wait to try these out for our mothers day/dad's birthday celebration this weekend. When I was a kid as a family we played badminton every night that it wasn't raining it seemed. Any family get together with nice weather now it seems we end up playing again just so it's not sitting around eating and it reminds of us when we were younger/kids doing stuff to have fun instead of just for exercise. These are very bright and see very durable, not the cheap plastic "birdies" that we have found recently that end up cracking or the nose flying off 5 minutes in. I'm not sure we will play with it pitch black or really dark outside because swinging a racket around others wont end up well but I know we'll use these late in the evening when it starts to get a little darker and we all will be able to still see.I received this product on a promotional discount for my honest review and they are 100% my own opinions. These are great! These look and feel like regular shuttlecocks. They are not all plastic. Their are feathers on the ends where most come in plastic. They are easy to play with. They do not vary much from regular shuttlecocks other than the fact that they do light up! These are very bright and can easily be seen at night. There is a switch in the bottom so you can switch on/off. Very easy to turn on and off. The LED flashes different colors. These are durable as well I have not broken one yet the light continues to blink even with the hardest of hitters. This would make an awesome gift for any Badminton enthusiasts out there! This is especially fun for summer parties as well, you can get a group going using them all for lots of fun play, i brought these to a BBQ and everyone had to know where i got them! These do not blink and the batteries are not replaceable. I have other ones that blink and change colors. Those are cool. These are just ok and are not that bright. I received a discount in exchange for my honest review. I recommend these for those who do not want to reuse these and lime a solid steady flow.
