Bissell Spinwave Plus Hard Floor Cleaner and Mop, Silver - 20391

I LOVE this device. No, it's not the best possible for "deep cleaning," which can truly only be accomplished with a rag and spray bottle and elbow grease targeted to the very specific problem spots. But, this device works perfect for maintaining clean and shiny floors. If your floors are relatively clean, because you sweep daily, or more, and clean up after yourself, it works great. Our floors are not filthy, but just have a lot of traffic (family of six), and we are home a lot so are used quite a bit. With regular wiping up of spills by hand and sweeping after food preparation, so normal dirt from shoes and from just general use, this mop is perfect. It offers two formulas, a cleaner, which leaves the wood sort of dull, but the real magic is in the wood polish. My dining room and places where we hardly every walk don't need a heavy cleaner, but they do get dusty and the polish is perfect. The device is easy to use, easy to push, turns easy, has soft sides which can safely get up against baseboards and furniture, and best of all, all floor cleaning is done from an upright position. I use a clear lidded plastic container to keep the polish solution in when I'm cleaning and then switch to polish solution when I have company coming. It's glorious. I clean my floors multiple times a week now. Mopping used to be my LEAST favorite task. This device has changed that. I love it.

Update 2yr mark: Still in love! My bissell is the best mop on the planet! It still works like day one and I use it constantly throughout the week. I still get compliments on my buffed floors! I love how shiny, clean, and quick drying the floors get with this awesome mop. I’ll just put this out there, Bissell should probably start paying me for all the referrals I’ve been giving them 😂)Super easy to use! I love the durability and design of the mop! Washable pads for eco cleaning!! Easy to clean detachable pads and cleaning dispenser bottle! I highly recommend finding another product for cleaning solution as the one which came complimentary to try made our tiles sticky and I only used a small amount mixed with more than enough water dilutions as recommended. Other than that, this is a god-send for those with alot of floor traffic ( I have 3 kids). Between sports, bikes coming through the back door, dirty bottom shoes from playing outside, and toddler spills, I can finally keep my floors nice and buffered without nearly as much manpower as I was using with the swifter jet mop! Well worth the money for my household needs! I usually clean and mop the floor every other night with this, getting twice the work done in half the time! Heck, the tile floors look so much better now I look forward to mopping in my quiet time. It’s not that loud to be honest and quite small to fit nicely in the cleaning pantry without taking up much space at all. I’m so glad a took a chance and tried it out, I’ll never go back to regular mopping again! :)

The media could not be loaded. Ugh I can’t believe there are people who have left a negative review about this product. Is it a commercial floor polisher? No. Is it a commercial sander & sealer? No. Is it a tool that cleans your floor amazingly well and is effortless to use? Heck yes!The tool is heavy enough where it pushes down on the ground and actually gets up stubborn dirt and grime but the second you turn it on it feels as light as a feather. I could move it around with a single finger.I used to have a swiffer wet jet and it took me about 40 min to “clean” my hardwoods. 40 min later I was left with a sore back and smudges from the puppy all over the floor. I didn’t have the stamina or desire to go back and redo it. Additionally I would have to buy plastic backed disposable pads which are terrible for the environment.This tool leaves NO smudge marks and the reusable pads are thick and HIGHLY effective. It now only takes me 10 min to clean the floors and I actually enjoy it!!!Ignore the overly picky reviews and just buy the thing. It’s one of those devices where after you’ve bought it you say to yourself “damn I should have done this 5 years ago. I’m mad at how much time and energy I’ve wasted”.

I have been using this for approximately a year now, and it is definitely handy in the kitchen.The device is reasonably lightweight and easy to maneuver. However, if the cleaning pads are not centered on the rotating disks, the head of the machine can "wobble" as the two cleaning pads bump into each other. Putting the pads on perfectly centered isn't difficult if you are fully mobile, though I could see this being a difficult process if you have a movement disorder or limited mobility.I have discovered that this product works best if you give the area a quick vacuum to pick up large, dry debris - the cleaning pads can chuck large, dry pieces of debris around instead of capturing them in the pads.I fill the reservoir with hot water and cleaning solution - this works extremely well. The floor gets quite clean, it dries nicely, and I don't have to put too much extra downward pressure on the cleaner for stuck-on stains. For the toughest stains, I have some wood floor cleaner in a spray bottle that I can use to pre-treat the spot. After a minute of soaking, this cleaner picks it right up.Overall, I think this product works well. While some may grumble about having to vacuum first, I haven't found any method - traditional mop and bucket or home gadget - that isn't improved by a pre-vacuum.
