The media could not be loaded.  Really pleased with this fountain, easy to put together, charged the unit separately in the sun over a period of a few weeks, just set up and put in garden today and it works: so far so good. Looks and sounds beautiful. During the winter I’ll probably empty it and put it away in the shed to protect it from the elements. A lovely addition to my garden

The media could not be loaded.  We have a motorway a mile or so away from our garden and when sitting out we can sometimes hear it. I thought that the sound of running water might mask the sound a bit. It has certainly worked and the fountain far exceeds my expectations. It is lightweight and pretty easy to assemble. There are 2 basic modes, one where the fountain runs from the solar panel (this is OK for direct sunny weather), or better for the UK is battery mode. In this mode the solar panel charges up the internal battery, when you go and sit in the garden you can switch it on either for 4 hours or 12 hours. It can also be switched off before this time. There is a small remote if you don't want to press the button on the solar panel. The water needs changing regularly but the fountain is very easy to clean. I would certainly buy again and recommend to anybody.Update: After a couple of months the paint is starting to come off where the water sits. It will need repainting at the end of the summer, still nice but a bit annoying that this happens so soon.

Took my husband just a few minutes to assemble. Lovely buff coloured weathered look to the fountain. It only works when the solar panel is in the sun or hazy sunlight but the fairly long lead allows the solar panel to be positioned away from the fountain if necessary so the fountain will work in the shade as long as the solar panel is in the sun. It has a battery feature so that you can charge the battery to use the fountain in cloudy conditions or even at night. Comes with a dinky remote control for use in battery mode. A little on the pricey side perhaps but worth it for such a good quality item.

At first it worked well for a few months. Now it doesn't trickle at all. I've tried using a hose to clean it but without success.At the moment, it looks decorative and the birds perch on it to drink! Rather a lot of money just for that though. How disappointing that the sound of water trickling isn't happening.

I have bought two of these previously and while they looked great and were very good value, I did find that linking up the water feed was more than a little tricky as the pipe was inside the housing.You needed a five year old's hands to do the job easily."Send someone to fetch a child of five", as Groucho Marx would have said.That problem has been solved as the pipe on my purchase now reached to the bottom of the housing.No five year old child needed.
