Lightweight. Cushion for air mattress pad
I bought the XL version (72x32) version as a bottom layer to my camping air mattress pad. This served two purposes: provide fiction to prevent sliding and provide cushion to prevent ripping. The extra width is nice to touch when I am sleeping and my hand comes from the mattress. I tested this with one night backyard camping. I also think the towel will absorb some moisture, but haven’t tested in humid condition yet. Overall, I am happy with the towel and will be part of my backpacking gears.Pro:Lightweight, multipurpose (towel, floor rug), compactCons:Mainly as towel can feel sticky when touching skin.

Bought this last minute for a trip - and it saved me!
bought this last minute on a whim when i looked at our travel itinerary and realized we had one activity planned where we'd be getting wet, and we'd have access to a shower afterward but no towels were provided. This set of towels SAVED me! They are perfect for traveling on the go - we spent 3 weeks in new zealand and these towels were clutch on days we had water activities planned but were 'between hotels' with no towels on us. I noticed a lot of travelers were carrying similar towels. These towels were surprisingly absorbent (we got the large version) and dried very quickly. I did wash them separately from other colors, so I don't know if they transfer in the wash. The snaps on the corners were extremely handy for when we were drying the towels on a windy balcony or on a boat! perhaps a second snap in another corner would be even better. They roll up nicely into the carrying case. What else is there to say - I looked at many other travel towel sets and I liked the compactness of the carry bag + the little carabiner provided.

Adieu Terrycloth
I took one of these on Safari in kenya. Work like a charm. Compact. Absorbent, and dried out overnight even in high humidity tropical conditions. It's the difference between the volume associated with a checked bag, versus a carry-on or personal item. Highly recommended.

A great towel for traveling or camping
I had been curious about these towels for a while and finally decided to get one to test drive. It’s super absorbent, dries fast, folds up small, the L generously wraps around my plus size frame. Really, it would be ideal to have several in our camping/swimming stash. Despite this, I am only giving 4 stars because of course it’s not perfect. It’s about as warm and cozy as rubbing yourself with a plastic shower curtain. It’s nothing like using a regular towel, which is fine for it’s travel friendly purposes but seemed fair to include that bit of info here. The material is soft and smooth when dry but kind of sticks or catches on wet skin. Probably better for blotting. I do think I will get more for camping and such but I am not remotely tempted to get more to use on a regular basis at home.

Review on 4 camping towels
The media could not be loaded. I wasn't sure which towel would be best for my needs (backpacking and lightweight), so I decided to buy 4 towels and compare them all.I will break down each towel as follows (I also made a video review that I uploaded in Amazon):Bogi: This came in at the lightest of the four at 4.2 ounces. It stated 40x20, but it actually measured 39x19. The stitching appears to be made well and includes a strap at one end that snaps. The bag it comes in is very lightweight with half of it being a very lightly made mesh netting and includes a carabiner. My main concern of the bag is it won't last in the long term, but it makes it lightweight. Can be found here: https://amzn.to/2SanUKP4Monster: This towel came in at the 2nd lightest at 5.0 ounces and also measured about 39x19. The towel includes a strap at one end that snaps and includes a soft shell case with air holes and zips up. The case is very durable and appears it will last quite a while. Can be found here: https://amzn.to/3n4zqFAHoeaas: This towel came in as the 3rd lightest weight at 5.6 ounces, HOWEVER, it comes with two towels (40x20 and 24x12). If you remove the smaller towel, it actually weighs the same as the Bogi at 4.2 ounces. For $2.00 more, you basically get the small (24x12) towel. These towels also have a strap at the end that snaps and the bag that is included is solid one one side with a light (could easily be torn) mesh netting on the other side. The bag buckles at the top, similarly to a water proof bag that you may take on a kayak. Can be found here: https://amzn.to/30lOrJySheefly: These set of towels came in at the heaviest of the four at 9.5 ounces, but that is most likely due to the case it comes in as well as the large towel as bigger at 48x28. The small towel came in at 24x12. The towels are more or less similar to the other 4, however I did notice the small towel wasn't completely cut straight on the long side. The bag it comes in is soft shell similar to the 4Monster, which zips up and has a carabiner clip. Can be found here: https://amzn.to/30nUHABAt the time (September 30, 2020) of this review each towel ranked in Amazon as follows:#2 - Bogi - $8.99#4 - 4 Monster - $10.99#8 - Hoeaas - $10.99 (comes with 2 towels)#152 - Sheefly (comes with 2 towels)CONCLUSION:Each towel more or less appears to be the same fabric, feel and look. Each one has a strap at the end that snaps. If you're looking for lightweight to take on a backpacking trip, then I would recommend the BOGI or the HOEAAS.If you're looking for a more durable bag, then I would go with the 4Monster or the Sheefly. Each seem to be reasonably priced, but time will tell.

Awesome
I recently went on a 2 week trip. We did a lot of hikes these towels were great. I was able to fit 4 of them in my backpack plus had plenty of room for whatever else. We swam in every water hole we found the towels dried us off just fine and if you layer them out dried pretty quickly also but I packed them away damp a couple times. No problem folding them up just do it the way they are supposed to be folded and they will fit no problem in the little pouch. I could see how someone could easily break the pouch but I had no problem and was just careful when packing them. I highly recommend for everyone who likes to hike or has kids these towels are nice compact and work.

It is very thin and light.
Took this traveling and glad we had it in the car for spills and drying off after a swim. It can easily fit into luggage or even a purse. It is thin and light, but does the job of drying you off! It is not really great if you're cold and want to warm up.

Using it to cling to the back of a recliner to avoid hair oil transfer. Works well.

Very effective
I use one of these during my workouts to keep sweat from getting in my eyes and being drenched and does a great job! Material is great and very convenient to hook onto my water bottle!!

Works great !
I gave this as a gift to my niece : she really loves it ! Easy to carry because it gets so tiny (while going to swim at friend's house and while traveling overseas), and it dries so quickly, so she can pack her stuff without having to wait hours so the towel dries

Soft, absorbent, lightweight
Nice lightweight towel in a convenient carry bag that I can put in my backpack when I go to the pool. Fabric is good quality, edges are well finished. For the beach I'd like something bigger but this is perfect for sports.
