Matouks Hot Sauce Variety Pack 5 oz: West Indian Hot Sauce 5 oz, Calypso Hot Sauce 5 oz, Hot Pepper Sauce 5 oz, Flambeau Hot Sauce 5 Oz.

I initially was only looking for some of the Matouk's "Flambé" sauce (which I had before & liked very much) when I saw this variety pack of other Matouk's sauces (which included the "Flambè") I jumped on it. Upon arrival of my order, I was very pleasantly surprised by two things. I had only ever seen Matouk's hot sauces in stores / supermarkets in large 10 ounce bottles (which was why I had only ever tried the "Flambè" sauce; I didn't want to try a different flavor & then be stuck with a huge bottle of it if I didn't like it). These however were 5 ounces each! Based on the price of the variety pack, I had assumed these were the 10 ounce bottles. I was surprised to discover that not only were they the smaller 5 ounce kind, but that I got two (2) of each bottle! This turns out to be a good thing for me, since these need to be refrigerated after opening & I have limited space in my fridge. I have only opened the "Calypso" sauce so far; a very tasty (but plenty hot!) West Indies-style mustard & tropical fruit based Scotch bonnet pepper sauce. But based on that and the "Flambè" which I've had already, I think I will quite enjoy all of these.

Love these hot sauces! Tried them down in the Caribbean and love that I can buy them in the states. They are def a GOOD level of hotness and I love the consistency/thickness of them vs traditional hot sauces.Seller did a GREAT job of securely packaging them and I appreciate that.Once catch - because the sauces are thicker, it’s pretty difficult to get it out of the narrow headed bottle (think glass bottled Heinz ketchup but harder). I’ve been using a chopstick (a knife will be too wide) to help get the sauce out. Hoping it will become easier as the bottle empties, as I would hate to waste any sauce just bc I couldn’t get it out of the bottle! It’s too good to waste!

Excellent selection of Caribbean style hot sauces. The flavor profiles are going to be a bit different from any Mexican style hot sauces or Tabasco. Think a bit more fruit flavored.

could not find ingredients on the product page but i took a chance. they are full of food coloring, corn starch and chemical preservatives. you get what you pay for. if you're ok with that go ahead. Amazon refunded my money. The ingredients are required to be on product page.

Very hot - a little goes a long way. Main quality is heat, flavor is so-so.

This brand has some of the hottest sauces made but they still have excellent flavor. I've bought this brand many times before and will again.Wanting to remember this stuff is hot it's not for the faint of heart this is not for your Texas Pete crowd or even Tabasco crowd. This is the real deal here

I bought this sauce on a whim to try it, and man oh man am I impressed! A carefully crafted with flavor hot sauce with excellent heat! A new favorite! I typically have 30-40 different varieties of hot sauce on hand, and Matouk's is definitely in my front line now! I bought the 4 flavor set and all are awesome! A+

These are HOT sauces, no joke about it. Bet they have nice flavors. I tame them down by mixing them with less hot sauces or some veggie puree.
