Steal Away

When my #3 daughter was about 10 or 12 years old, this book was one of several recommended by her teachers. She never forgot it, although our "family" copy unfortunately went astray in the intervening years. Now that she is a mother of her own young children, she has been wanting to share the story with them. I was delighted to find this copy on Amazon, and now my daughter is reading "Steal Away" to her children, just as I read it to her and her siblings, decades ago. And it truly is a story that outlasts all those decades. It upholds traditional Christian family values, while at the same time showing and sharing the mistakes and shames of our history. It is an excellent family read, and a parent can "edit" as needed for differing age levels. The condition of the copy was just as listed, delivery was on-schedule, and I am wholly pleased with the purchase.
