I didn’t get to use this because Amazon, in its infinite stupidity, decided to send this to me in a bag instead of a box and it looked like a truck drove over it. I could see and smell it because, obviously, it exploded in the bag. Here’s a fact: I used to use this product when it was just Fermodyl all the way back to the late 1970s when there was absolutely nothing to help with curly hair. This was all we had. And what used to be a yellow thicker liquid that had pearlescence, this was a clear liquid. I highly doubt it works the same. It even smells differently, i.e., bad. To say it smelled like awful alcohol would be a pretty good guess. Think hair spray. Roux should be deeply ashamed of what they did to this brand. It’s absolutely AWFUL and shameful.

This makes the best leave in conditioner. I mix it in my spray bottle with water and spritz my natural hair. My hair loves it.

They changed the formula and fragrance. These are not the same ampules I used to use, in the glass vials you snapped open. They work OK, but not like they used to on dry, damaged hair.

I have sisterlocs and I mix this leave in conditioner with water and essential oils and mist my hair every other day. This helps to keep my locs healthy and adds a light shine.
