I'm not ready to use these yet, but I installed two of the bulbs temporarily to see what they look like & to test them with my existing dimmer switch (which is older - before LED bulbs were dimmable). I'm very happy to say that the dimming works fine.I got the 60watt equiv/6000k version. These are BRIGHT & WHITE! Seems a lot brighter than 60watt - maybe because the light is SO white. That's not a criticism, I wanted at least 5000k color temperature because I hate that yellow look. I'll be using four of these in my bedroom as indirect lighting behind the valances of my vertical blinds. As soon as one of my old incandescent bulbs gives up the ghost, I look forward to replacing them with these. Will probably run the dimmer at about 60% to get the same amount of light I have now. But I'll have that extra boost available when I occasionally need more.I do wish they came in a two or four pack instead of three. I'll have to buy another pack to get that one more bulb I need. Also, as I just got these I can't rate or comment on the longevity. But I'm pleased so far.--------------UPDATE: I got my second order - does NOT work with my old dimmer when replacing ALL the bulbs. (?!?)So, I have two fixtures with two bulbs in each one connected to my dimmer switch. In my original review above, I replaced both bulbs in ONE of the fixtures to test the look & functionality with the dimmer, leaving the other fixture with incandescent. All was well, so I ordered the next set of bulbs (remember I didn't have the fourth bulb originally). Now with enough bulbs on hand, I replaced all four & turned them on. WHAT?!? The dimmer switch went crazy with the lights flickering all over the place. But I tested them previously, how is this happening? Anyway, after some experimenting, I found that as long as I keep one incandescent bulb in any one of the four sockets, the LEDs are fine. So weird.I'm not blaming the company or the product. It clearly stated in the description that the dimming would only work with specific switches. I just wanted to clarify my review since I originally said they did work with my existing dimmer.

I looked far and wide for a very LONG frosted medium-base bulb, and it led me here. I made a lamp fixture out of laser-cut cardboard (see photos) and used a normal-sized led bulb for a while, but I wanted something longer that fits the height of the fixture better.I bought the dimmer choice, and it works well for my application. Bulb does not get hot since it is an LED, and it is longer than most T10 bulbs which are usually like 8". This one is around 12". Unfortunately, the bulb is not frosted but I might try giving it a light coat of white spray paint to achieve that. I also wish the color temperature was a little lower (closer to daylight, rather than blue-ish) but it would be good for most modern-looking applications. Probably not quite bright enough for lighting up a workbench or something unless you had multiple bulbs lit at the same time.But overall, this is a great find!

I bought these and found them to be the perfect fit for a large over one foot ceramic Christmas tree. Really made it bright!!

Big help with installation, and removal of filters, does fill a bit thin.

I replace a couple of desk lamps with these LED equivalents. They were well package and were in good shape when I received them (generic amazon packaging). They fit perfectly, The only difference I noticed was that the LED lamps seemed a bit brighter than the old 40 watt incandescent bulbs. probably will never have to replace those bulbs again given the typical LED bulb life. Not a bad choice, 40+ watts of light for 4 watts, saves a little money in the long term.

We are remodeling an old house, and I was looking for long led bulbs to fit my lanterns. These work perfectly - they look great on and off and light the kitchen island very well. They do flicker a little when dimmed, even though we got the best quality dimmer for led bulbs and followed directions exactly. I still give the bulbs a 5 star because I love the look.

Replaced the old incandescent bulbs with these and the usage was reduced from 50w to 8w total. The appliance stays cool, the light value increases to 80w for the two that are in the desk light and the bulbs will last indefinitely. What's not to like?!

I have a brass floor lamp, with a drum shaped mercury glass shade. These bulbs are shaped perfectly and the warm white color, yellowish, from the glow of the filament, is beautiful and relaxing.I didn't score 'LONGEVITY', only because I've had them a short period of time but I'm almost certain they'll not need replacing any time soon. I thought they were reasonably priced and received them the day after I placed the order.

These lights are working very well and provide a nice warm, intimate light for my basement bathroom wall sconces. Theres enough light and its not overpowering and the dimmable feature is nice to have. They were packaged well and arrived quickly. Would buy again.

This is exactly what I wanted. We did have old incandesent bulbs that got way too hot ( and dangerous in a lamp ), and were burnt out. These new LED bulbs are the best. I love how cool they are and the really bright white daylight. I could not find them anywhere else I looked. They don't seem to be in any stores. I am so glad I found them here. I would highly recommend them. They are great!
