Bought as gift for son, received no complaints

I had to scramble to buy things for my classes when my college closed in March. I wanted a tablet so that I could share my screen with students while writing and working out problems (I teach math). I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something like an Ipad, so I decided to try this. I have no idea how I would have finished my semester without it. It works really well! I didn't have any issues setting it up. I was worried that I wouldn't like writing on the tablet without seeing what I was writing on it, but I actually found it very easy to get used to. It's like how we move a computer mouse on a desk while looking up at the computer screen -- it's really easy to get used to it. The surface is slightly textured, which I think helps with the writing. I was honestly surprised by how natural it all felt and by how clear my writing was. I did have an issue at one point where the tablet wasn't connecting to my computer with Bluetooth anymore. But I just reinstalled the driver and everything works fine now. Plus, I could have just used the cable to connect to my computer if that didn't work.

First off I am not an artist. I do a little of everything Adobe AI, photoshop, writing, drawing, signatures, annotating documents, basic coding, scripts, etc. I recently changed companies and went from Apple to Windows and have been missing some of the peripherals. I was originally looking for a keyboard/trackpad combo that would allow me to kickback(feet on desk), stand up, or be upright and take my interface with me, something different. I landed on drawing tablets and found many reviews of people who switched from a mouse and I was intrigued. I have a 34" monitor & 2 22" monitors(the basics.) The bigger the screen you have the bigger the tablet you need and they quickly get expensive. I ordered the XP-Pen Star05v2 & the Wacom Intuos Wireless Medium. Unboxing: The Wacom is much like opening an new iPhone. You get nice packaging, the device, and a charging cable. The texture and quality of the device is lovely. You find yourself liking it before you have even used it. Setup: Setup was super easy, I downloaded the software, and connected the device within a couple of minutes. First impression: At first it feels really weird at first…when you hover & move the pen over the tablet it moves the mouse. Tapping the tablet is like a mouse click. The pen/tablet is mapped 1:1 to your screen(s). If you go to the top right of the tablet the mouse goes directly to the top right of your screen. You can map the tablet to a specific screen so you have more space to draw on the tablet. You can also turn off the 1:1 mapping by putting the tablet in mouse mode. This is what I did to make the transition easier. However if you want to draw, sign documents, etc you really need to be in drawing/tablet mode. Otherwise your writing looks just like it would using a mouse. I setup some of the shortcuts in the software. I put the tablet back in tablet mode and tried Adobe AI and doing some of my work, diagrams, and did some drawings/writing. Usability: The tablet is superb for drawing, writing, design, & precision. I also liked that I could put it in my lap and scroll through web pages, applications, etc. However it just isn't quick enough for me. Perhaps one of the models with the dial and additional buttons would work. Conclusion: This unit is nice and if drawing & design were my primary function I would love it. I think I will try one of the other models with the dial. Probably the XP-Pen Pro as the Wacom Intuos Pro is just too expensive for my needs. I think a magic keyboard, magic trackpad, with the bridge would work perfectly for my needs, but I'm still using Windows primarily and not willing to pay for yearly software to make everything work.

The tablet is amazing. Its sturdy enough cus i take it with me on every trip, never had any problems. Safe to use on planes, at least i had no issues. Ive tried a couple others my friends have, and and this is by far my favorite digital art tablet. Great price, came with amazing software. Probably not recommended, but its great to use as a mousepad too. I love this tablet. Ive used it every day for about a year now, i think. It makes it really easy to transition from traditional medias to digital too. Its my first tablet. I use it for my windows pc, it is very easy to set up and change settings. Just follow the instructions.

I bought this for my husband, and I've gotten to watch his art improve by leaps and bounds since receiving his art tablet. This is his first one, but I bought a similar bamboo model years ago for my sister for about the same price, and I am wowed by how much the company has improved an already good product! The sensitivity in the pen, the options for color and texture all do enough to provide a beginning or novice artist with the capability to expand into the digital world. It DOES take some patience and practice to set up all of the software onto your computer and program commands into it, but I'd imagine that's going to be the case with any art tablet you choose.

Es un producto como uno se lo puede imaginar al tacto, calidad y bastante amigable. Definitivamente el tamaño mediano hace una diferencia para las personas que tenemos manos grandes, al menos yo lo he sentido cómodo en este par de días que la vengo utilizando. No soy diseñador ni ilustrador, soy Administrador especializado en MKT y aún así puedo decirles que he encontrado poco a poco las ventajas de esta herramienta para apoyo en mis actividades tanto profesionales como de extra-curriculares. Algo importante a mencionar y que me dejó un poco insatisfecho pero al mismo tiempo lo comprendo, es el hecho de que la caja especifique que vienen 3 Software de Bonus (Sí, al momento de registrar la tableta en la página oficial te da acceso a 3 instaladores: uno para un software de edición de fotografías, otro para ilustraciones y otro para ilustraciones en general y específicamente de mangas). La única licencia que viene disponible para registro es la del Software CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO y es para 2 años y la obtienes una vez registras la tableta en la página oficial de WACOM (lo confirmé con WACOM) los otros dos Softwares únicamente permiten un periodo de prueba de 90 días. ES DECIR NO TE QUEDAS CON LOS SOFTWARE DE MANERA PERMANENTE, UNA VEZ CUMPLEN SU PERIODO HAY QUE COMPRARLOS. Anteriormente al parecer sí venían incluidos como parte del paquete, ahora no. Fuera de eso estoy muy satisfecho con la compra y espero poder sacarle el provecho suficiente como principiante, tiene una curva de aprendizaje como cualquier electrónico pero nada que cualquier persona pueda superar.

Mesa muito boa, ela é fina, leve. A caneta tem uma ótima sensibilidade, conseguindo pegar bem os traços finos e grossos que faço. Utilizo para fins não muito profissionais, então ela satisfaz todas as minhas necessidades com muito sucesso! Instalação tranquila, manual de instruções de fácil compreensão, curto e prático. Bateria dela dura muitas horas. Não cheguei a contabilizar na ponta do lápis quanto tempo dura, mas eu utilizando bastante, consigo passar dois dias seguidos até precisar carregar. Carregamento dura poucas horas até deixar a carga completa! A mesa tem um sistema inteligente para economizar energia, quando você deixa ela conectada ao computador (pelo bluetooth) e passa muito tempo sem utilizar, a mesa desconecta automaticamente para poupar energia. Não tenho problema para conectar com o bluetooth. Só cadastrar a mesa uma vez pelas configurações do computador e as próximas conexões são diretas! Sobre entrega: bem tranquila, chegou antes do previsto inclusive. Produto estava impecável!

I'm a visual effects artist and am accustomed to working with wacom tablets all day long at least 5 days a week. I bought this one to upgrade my at-home computer setup. It does not disappoint. I don't actually use if for artwork at home that much, but I use it as a full mouse replacement because I find it a more comfortable, intuitive way to navigate. I use it every day, normally paired to my Surface Pro. I love how small and sleek it is, and that you can run it wirelessly. It's the same size as my Surface Pro tablet, so I can throw them in together in my little carrying case if I'm going somewhere. It's great. I do have issues with bluetooth connection failing though. It's annoying how often I turn the wacom on and it just keeps blinking without connecting to my computer. I have to restart it a couple times and if that doesn't work, I have to remove it from my computer's bluetooth list, then find it and create a new connection. Sometimes it takes a while to find it too.

Incrível, eu já usava Wacom, mas tinha a mesa pequena. A mesa grande é super confortável e prática. Único ponto negativo é que a bateria para usar por Bluetooth é um pouco curta. É preciso carregar toda noite.
