It works great. It was perfect for holding my camera. Easy to use especially liked it because it was no drilling. I just clipped to the area where I want to place my camera.

Our Blink camera easily mounted on this clamp and after 2+ months of being clamped to our thick curtain rod in the living area, it is still straight and sturdy. It grips very well, but has not dented or damaged our curtain rod, so it is just enough grip to handle the job. The Blink camera does not make this too top heavy either. The pictures are a little hard to see since I clamped this to the curtain rod in a way that the curtain panel hides the majority of the mount. I was certain this might slip or pop off, but so far, it has been great! Super easy to install and very versatile. I am very happy with this purchase!

I have to use my wireless cameras in different locations in the course of my work. This mount will hopefully allow me to get the camera into the spots I need easier.The first thing you need to know is that the one knob on the mount tightens the entire thing down. Just tighten the knob and the arms all lock into place at the same time. When tightened down it is very solid. The clamp is pretty tight and enough strength you can open it to 2.5 inches. Having said that I think the usable clamping would be closer to 2 inches to allow the jaws has enough surface area to hold, but this depends on the size, shape and surface of what you are clamping onto.I have used a couple of my wireless cameras with this unit and the clamp and arms had no issue at all holding them solidly in place. So far this has been a good solid versatile mounting system. I love this thing.
