This Kendama is really good quality. It is very comparable to the one I had long time ago from Japan. The surface of the Ken is very smooth and the grooves are just right for Ken grip and Sara grip positions. All three cups are craft right and smooth texture. There is an extra cord for replacement need. Overall a well balanced Kendama for me to practice and for my kids when they are ready.
