Better than the smaller ones, worth the money
Very flexible to tumble multiple stages at once, good quality, been running non stop for over a month and no issues. just make sure it is on a level surface.

Great so far!Takes 1 month. Now get outside!
Plugged it in at first and nothing happened. Lightly spun one of the rotating rods and it kicked on. Barrel is great. I like 3lb size bc it makes it worthwhile. This entire process is a month. Patience. Better than nature's thousand year mark.Read instructions entirely to understand steps..helps. also. The lid is very secure. Think before just ripping it off, bc you will struggle. Guaranteed. Also keep in mind that if you break the threaded screw on the lid your screwed.. so use the right tools and tighten the black head nut all the way down on that threaded screw when removing the gasket lid. Sharp edges that kids can't manage safely..and probably some adults.. but I digress. It's loud, what do you expect. No heat issues. No leakingYou can adjust where the motor sits and that pulls slack out of pulley.Great to get kids and people engaged and outside to enjoy nature. Plus you have something to show for it! Then restart w newly found rocks from hikes or trips.. Rock on!!!

Pile of crap! Barely got it to work!
Do not buy! This thing didn't even work out of the box. The motor was seized from having the belt way too tight upon assembly! I had to remove the platform so it wouldn't catch on the rubber on the end of the barrel. I also had to install roller bearings on the roller shaft. Applied oil to the shaft like the direction tell you to do, but the plastic bushings wore out and the shaft no longer rotated after 10 hours, so I installed bearings to keep the barrel rolling. Also the barrel rolls better when flipped the other way than the directions state, otherwise it wobbles and jams the barrel in the machine and stops the motor. Took me a whole day of modifying to get the POS to even work. If you like fixing brand new products out of the box than this is your kind of polisher.

Very good with 1 little problem.
Machine seems sturdy. It is quiet and seals up very well. Problem: Even with the end raised 1/2 inch, the barrel moves uphill until the bottom of the barrel rubs against the cooling fins located above the motor. It will not stay centered in the Barrel well. In 3 hours of running the bottom of the barrel is noticeably worn.

Not a long term machine for something that takes time to do.
I purchased this in April of 2022 and beginning of may 2023 it is now dead. Rock tumbling takes time. About 1 to 2 months per batch, through all its various stages.I performed weekly maintenance on this machine by cleaning the plastic covers on the rods and re-lubricating religiously. It does come pre-lubed but would advise adding more to it and working it in before adding a load to it.It would never level the cans properly to keep centered in the machine. I attempted to tune the cans to keep them from shifting. However, they would just crawl to one side regardless. The tabs on the side do not help keep centered. Once they contact the tab it eats away at the tab via friction and also adds to the amount of noise it makes. Once the cans shift towards the heat fins they will just grind away and the knobs and make a fairly loud constant squeal while it runs. The "bearings" that hold the rods the barrels ride on are plastic and have failed. Even with routine lubrication it does not stop the weight of the barrels eating the plastic that retains the rods they ride on. This is not a long term machine. My suggestion to the manufacture is to really take a good look at where this has the points of friction and upgrade those parts to something that can displace that load in a better fashion. Metal bearings would be the first thing I would start off with.On a good note It included 5 belts and only broke one when it finally failed.
