SPICY!!
First, I'd like to mention that the color and consistency is super nice. The glosses have an identical texture to the Fenty ones. The plumping works!! They are pretty spicy though. If you get some in your mouth you will definitely notice. The burning/tingling is not unbearable, but it could be way too intense for some people. You can definitely feel it and it dulls a bit after about 10 minutes, but for me it doesn't go away. With that being said, I have sensitive skin and eczema, and this did not irritate my skin or cause any redness around my mouth. With the plumping being from chili pepper, I think it is a safer bet than other plumping ingredients.Pros:- Very nice, buttery gloss- Nice variety of colors, they may look similar in the tube but they're not identical- Plumping effect works & works fast- Lips stay plumped even after wiping it off- Chili pepper makes for a reliable plumping agent- Colors are opaque but easy to get offCons:- Very very spicy. Definitely tastes like chili pepper- If your skin is super sensitive, it might be irritating due to the spice- The sensation doesn't really go away much even after wearing it for awhile- Not good for those who don't tolerate spice well- As with any gloss, they're not stainproof. It will transfer while eating or if your lips touch your skinOverall, I would recommend these, but keep in mind your sensitivity to spice and your skin's tolerance for plumping products.

Plumps SO well
I’ve tried a LOT of plumpers in my day and when I saw that Maybelline released a plumping Lifter gloss I had to try it because their Lifter glosses are SO good.In reading the reviews for this product I was a little nervous because I hate glosses that burn BURN like hellfire. I’m pretty sensitive and I’ve tossed many products after a first try. Because I love this line so much I decided to give it a shot anyway even though reviews about how intense it is scared me.I bought the peach color. The texture of the gloss itself is different to that of the regular lifter gloss. It’s a bit thinner has bit more of a slip with a less lacquer effect. It’s still shiny don’t get me wrong but it’s different. The sensation builds and doesn’t happen immediately, but working a good 10 minutes of application my lips were full on tingly. By 20’minutes, my lips were noticeably fuller without the irritation ring that a lot of plumbers produce. In fact, I didn’t see a noticeable difference in the color except for the color of the gloss.I found the “burn”’to be quite tolerable and not at all uncomfortable. You do get that little bit of essence of chili on the inside of the mouth but it doesn’t feel any spicier that putting chili flake on your pizza (which I always do). From the reviews I was expecting the worst but it was totally fine. This coming from an Irish person that can only tolerate moderate to medium spice and hates plumbers that make my lips feel like I pressed them against an iron. Quite honestly this is mild compared others that I’ve tried but the kicker is that it actually works. At 40 after being a smoker all through my 20’s, my top lip has lost a lot of its volume and my bottom isn’t as full as it once was. I especially have issues with the sides of my top lip which are starting to turn downward. I will get filler eventually but I’ve never come across a product that not only did I tolerate but actually did inflate those problem areas noticeably within a few minutes and didn’t leave my lips looking like I just kissed poison ivy. I’m super impressed. This lip plumper is a home run for me. It works much better that higher end ones I’ve tried at a fraction of the cost and the tingle/burn whatever you want to call it was probably the most bearable that I’ve tried in a very long time.I’m actually going to buy two others colors after I post this review.

burning sensation
really pretty color, lots of shine, plumping effect lasts maybe an hour, i wouldn’t use it in place of a chapstick personally, because it is slightly uncomfortable to wear (as goes with all plumping products), but it does have a nice moisturizing effect. i think this is one of the cheaper options for plumping lip glosses, but if you still want to go for a name brand, this is a good one. while the plumping effect only lasts about an hour, the lipgloss itself will stay for longer than that. maybe two hours if you aren’t doing much with your mouth. i don’t wear this every day, its more of a special accessory i bring out sometimes, but still, you get a lot of wears out of this tube. again, i don’t wear it everyday, but the value for what you get seems good. definitely works for what it is

I like plumpers, but this is a serious burn
First of all I love the regular Lifters Glosses, so I thought I'd try this; I have several plumping glosses. But this is chili-oil hot , not menthol minty , and since one is likely to lick ones lips, it burns the tongue as well. I don't mind that in food, but not in a gloss. Soap and Glory had a similar one I just couldn't handle, so I'd say this one is for people who really like the fire sensation. And it does not recede with time.Because it irritates your lips, it does plump a bit, but for me, the regular Lifters do that job quite well, as they fill in the cracks and lines ( I'm old, I have dry lips)The color, Pink Sting, is a really nice quasi Palm Springs pink, which is why I am keeping it.SO! Proceed if you like Thai food level 6 on your lips, lol. If not, the regular Lifters are a nice alternative.

Favorite Plumper
I love the peppermint smell, I wouldn't advise to eat the plumper but it taste good on your lips, it's a little sticky and I love how it make my lips plumper and has a tint of pink, it also lasts quite awhile!

I continue to buy again and again
LOVE LOVE LOVE this gloss!!! I wouldn’t recommend eating lol because the chili taste burns a bit and will make you cough. But it’s beautiful, I kind of like the burn of the chili on my lips. Not super long lasting though, you have to reapply after an hour or so, else you get this weird sticky/tacky dried texture.
