I had another tripod that was also a ring light and you put your phone in the middle of the light, but the bendy arm was weak. As I'd be filming myself, my phone would slowly dip until it was filming my feet. So, I read the reviews and tried this one. It is much stronger and it will hold your phone (I have a heavy, larger-screen iPhone with added weight due to a glass protection shield) in place for as long as you need. Two things I don't like: 1) The base of the tripod is the same as any in the price range and you do have to tape it to the floor or it'll fall forward due to the weight of the phone, and 2) It's not easy to change the orientation of the phone. It won't just twist from one to the other. Otherwise, it's great and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Only rarely am I PLEASANTLY surprised by stuff I get on line without actually seeing it. I anticipated a flimsy device which would barely suffice for my application. This thing is very well made and cleverly thought out. It will be useful in numerous situations. The tubes are pretty stout and the locks are convenient and secure. Also it has 1/4 20 on both ends and comes with a couple mounting adapters. Well worth the money.

Pretty cool product

The height of the tripod is great! This is easy to use but the only downfall is the phone holder needs to be changed to switch from portrait to landscape. I did find a way to make it work without switching, but it is not as sturdy. I have not tried this product out in the wind yet. I’m not sure if the Tripod at the bottom will keep it stable but it does look as if it will

Great quality!! Perfect to take family pictures or selfies during a hike!

The bottom doesn’t expand so when there’s too much weight added to gooseneck, it tips over. I have an iPhone 14 Pro. The gooseneck has to be very close to the tripod which gets the tripod in frame. It’s decent quality but all this makes it unusable.

Great for large group pictures!

This product is amazing. Its around 6 ft tall and has a remote. Never again will you need to bother anyone to take your pic. The stand is firm and holds your phone, ( I have a Samsung galaxy ultra 23-very large)with the case on. Totally amazing.
