I learnt about the quality of Alum after I started using this one. Initially I was quite happy with it as it was my first time of using an alum block that too purchased online with little knowledge on the quality aspects. After using it for few days the block starts to disintegrate and develops sharp edges leading to cuts on the face.Initially I thot that there was an issue with Amy be the way I was using it but that issue was even more pronounced in the other blocks of the same pkg. Actually there is a cavity on the sides of the alum which keeps going deeper as one uses it leading to breaking up of the block from inside. As I read online about the quality of Alum I learnt that a high quality alum will have less pores, cavity or roughness.This one surely has a huge cavity on the sides which makes the alum block disintegrate faster. Though iused the broken pieces after powering them but I got a lot of cuts on my face occasionally from the rough surface.
