It does what it says it does!
I really does keep hot things hot and cold things cold!! For hours! Really, 8 hours after you pour it, your coffee is still hot enough to be enjoyable. If I had to keep it hotter longer, I would use the tea-pot trick of flushing the cup with super hot water before pouring the coffee in. That pre-heats the steel and you do not loose even a bit of heat.Caution, if you want to drink your coffee within an hour or so, you will have to open the lid and wait for it to get cool enough not to burn your tongue! Plastic lid or not, it really does keep in the hot or keep the water cold enough not to melt the ice cubes for hours! And the lid will absolutely not leak. So no dribbling down the sides when you take sip.I like it that this model is sturdy on its feet, because my desk can become a highway for my cats, walking back and forth. This cup is not at all tippable.Bummer! second to the last day it is returnable, the lid broke. The entire middle section just fell apart when i pushed the straw tab closed. It was probably cracked without me realizing it, because it annoyed me that the straw tab would keep popping in...all the way in. So the cap must have been defective from the start. I have NEVER seen this happen before! So don't expect trouble, just take a quick check before using it.Second update: Bought a second cup because I have to wait till the 16-27 to get my replacement lid. I am already hooked on HOT coffee! Well, the third day of using the cup, a chip came off the clear plastic lid. Unfortunately, it is the part that holds one half of the black flap on. i contacted the company again, suggesting that they got a bum load of the lids. They returned with "we have sole over 2000 of these and had no similar problems". So, my solution is to buy a set of 2 lids from another company that will fit this one. (MEZMUT 20oz Tumbler Replacement Lids, 2 Pack) At least they are supposed to. If they do not, I will come right back tonight and amend this report. I still love the cup and it is worth the cost of extra lids ($7.01 inc. tax) to have this for my morning brew. Lid size: Look for lids that are 8mm or 3 1/8" (or 3.15") for the inside rim of the cup. The 20 oz size really does fit this cup.

Love this cup
I use it every day. No leaks from the cap. Keeps coffee hot, keeps cold drinks could. It's also nice that they included straws, cleaners for the straws, and spare gaskets.

Great quality, very nice cup!
The cup Is great! Very nice looking and will hold a lot of anything. Straws were Amazing and they are stainless steel. You get the three of them. Even comes with a piece of rubber for the bottom. This thing will not slip! I will buy another very soon. The price was very good also.

Great mug, couple things though.
It's a good mug! Great size, comes with replacement gaskets and straws. It does keep my coffee warm just as well as the thermos mug it replaced, which is where the "however" comes in. It's packaging says it'll keep your drink hot for up to 24 hours and there's just no way it stays hot that long. I used this mug for an eight hour shift and about six hours in its warm, definitely not hot. I'd assume their testing didn't include drinking the liquid at all and that's what accounts for the difference but even if I didn't open it once my guess would be 12 hours max for any real heat retention. Which really isn't bad as far as these things go, as stated earlier, my thermos brand mug performed pretty much exactly the same.Only other think that irks me about this mug is that the flip top on the lid doesn't click back and lock into place when you open it, but that's a very minor irritation.

Pretty dang good... but alas. update 2
Update 2: just noticed the crack. I’ve had this mug just under two months. I don’t recall dropping, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I did sometimes. What I think might be more likely is the way I put it down always contacts roughly that spot first. I replaced the original rubber bottom cushion ring thingy with a pad because the one part of the cup holder that contacts the bottom of the mug is smaller than the opening in the rubber ring, making it useless in one of two places where I use it the most. Back to the crack, I’ll be dropping it a star. Doesn’t matter if I dropped the mug or if it’s repeated contact, it shouldn’t crack. And especially within two months. I’m quite annoyed and want to reduce the rating even more, but I holding off for now. I mean, I used a pair of Reduce One mugs for years and they clearly show drop damage (sizable dent) without cracking.Original review starts here:Prior to last week, I had been using a 50 oz Reduce mug with a DIY/custom made holder (PVC piping parts, foam noodles, duct tape and cloth towels). The cup holder wasn't too obtrusive in my previous vehicles, only because I had no way of securing it around the center console with the hand brake in the way. So it sat on the passenger seat, buckled in to help minimize the chances of tipping over the whole thing. With my current vehicle, I no longer have a hand brake, so I modified it to secure on my center console. But with everything else nearby, it is incredibly obtrusive. After a while, the cup holder and the plastic band of the mug that the handle attaches with had become eyesores. By chance I noticed someone had a picture of an expandable cup holder, in a review for that very same Reduce mug. So that started a week long shopping spree (3 expandable cup holders and two new mugs). The first 50 oz mug I purchased was taller and narrower than the Reduce mug. That wasn't really an issue for me. But the twist on flip top lid it used was.Prior to the Reduce mug, I had been using Bubba Keg mugs for a long time. But I found that the flip top part of the lid was a breeding ground for bacteria and it was difficult to clean. Even if you could get a brush (or toothpick) to scrap the visible crevices, there were areas where the flip top mounts to the lid that can't be clean unless you remove the part. Easier said than done and also risks breaking the lid, which I did at one point, needing a replacement. After getting the Reduce mug, I replaced its flip-top lid with a generic press-in lid with magnetic slider (basically a copy of a Yeti lid). While I can insert this lid into the new mug, it takes an incredible amount of effort to remove, due to the mug being designed for a threaded lid.Long preamble just to get here... but now I've got the mug being reviewed here.It has a good size, wide enough that I doubt anything short of an intentional swing would knock it over. And not too particularly tall. The "mouth" is the same as the Reduce mug, which means I can easily swap out the flip top lid with the magnetic slider lid.As I'm typing this review, I'm occasionally taking sips from it... which I had filled with ice and soda some 8-10 hours prior. So it definitely does the job of keeping my drink cold. The only real issue I have with it is the handle. It's very thin and a little uncomfortable, considering I've been use to the thicker handle of the Reduce mug. Hopefully, I'll get used to it over time.But... if you're still reading this, maybe you've remembered that I put in the title "but alas."The reason for that has to do with the three cup holders I also bought. The first one was a bit too tall for my liking, but worse is the top half wobbles even though the base is secured. The second is shorter, but the top still wabbles. The third is technically "too short," but since all three had expandable mounts to secure themselves, it wasn't an issue. What was an issue was the fact that I had found one with a very stable top portion, that was too small for this mug. It only accepts up to 4.8" wide mugs. The mug in this review is 5". 0.2" doesn't seem like a lot, but it's enough to prevent the mug from sitting securely in the holder. However, the mug with the lid I hate, does fit.So my options are:1. Use the mug from this review with the DIY mug holder. Which isn't really much better than before I did all this shopping.or2. Use the newest cup holder with the other mug.For now, I'm going with option 2 since I do want to free up access to the things around my center console. But we'll see if I can avoid getting too aggravated by the lid.P.S. I've gone through too many mugs. I had some 5 or 6 64oz Bubba Kegs. I forgot one on my car as I drove off. It eventually fell and got crushed flat. I broke the lid of one, as previously mentioned. Another actually had it's body "explode" (the plastic parts separated from the center metal band). The rest are stored away somewhere. By this point I had multiple Bubba Kegs so I could use one while the others were washed and allowed to dry completely because it had places water could go, that I couldn't wipe dry. I had a 34 oz Yeti mug, which was too tall, easily knocked over and also too small to hold as much as I wanted. Two Reduce mugs that I switched between as I washed one. Though, since it didn't have the drying issue of the Bubba Kegs, I could've just stuck with one. And of course the two recently bought mugs.Update:It turned out that after mounting the newest mug holder in my car, the top was actually more wobbly than I expected due to the arms themselves. So now, I have three wobbly mug holders. All three designs vary enough that they cover most of the types sold on Amazon that might hold a 50oz mug and not look like it would break the moment I set the mug down.I decided to take a different approach, I would try modifying one of them.Long story short, with a layer, now two, of electrical tape, I was able to make it stiffer and the most stable of the three. So, while the drawback is that it’s taller, it’s also wide enough to accept the mug in this review. Despite there still being a little bit of wobble, it’s good enough and I’m a happy camper. Now, if I could do something about this narrow handle.

Must have!
This thing keeps icey drink all day. Unbelievable! It has a straw hole with a stopper and a drinking slot with a locking door. I even dropped mine and didn't spill a drop.
