Like it says, it does not focus like a mag light and it is much lighter which can be good or bad but it is brighter than my old light with LED bulb conversion. Nice light at a good price that uses D rechargeable batteries that I already have. To soon for how durable it is but should be fine around the house.

Sure, it's no mag lite, but it's not $70 either. It feels solid, great lens, feels like quality metal, and helps me see at night. No complaints, a good value.

This is a pretty good flashlight....until you try to change batteries. The screw off tail is tight as a tick. No matter which tool I use, it does not budge. So it is now a pretty good self defense baton.Update: Finaly found a tool to work. As you might expect, the tail could not be removed easily because of corrosion...cheap batteries. I've ordered a replacement. This is really a very good flashlight when loaded with good batteries.

This is a good, basic flashlight. No bells and whistles, no adjustable beam, just a solid, well-make light that takes 2 D cell batteries, which is just what I wanted.

Extremely bright! Quality is wonderful, I was surprised by how bright they are.

It is as represented on Amazon, and is a great value. Most flashlights carried in physical stores are rechargeable and allow use of AAA batteries. This one uses "D" batteries , and with normal use can run on the same set of (2) batteries for years.The lights that offer AAA power cost much more to run over time compared to this one.Other lights have multi function switches which tend to fail prematurely.This is just what I needed at a great price.

I love this flashlight! It's a simple meat and potatoes flashlight but on steroids. One click on and off. None off that high, medium, low, strobe kinda junk. And it's BRIGHT and with a solid beam and no twist end to turn it from fog light to beam. Oh! It's a good hard metal and not like a tin can or cheap plastic. Best flashlight I've had in a long time! GET EM, even if they're for back up!!!!
