It definitely helped me pass the Geotech CBT exam

Its pretty good. Questions are very similar to what you find on the NCEES practice exam. Much better quality than school of PE questions.A few questions are possibly irrelevant to new format/content.-1 star for not being free :)

The book is good but the real PE exam is about 75% conceptual questions which is not the case for this book.

It has lots of questions, unfortunately they do not get close to the level of the exam. If exam questions are 100% difficulty, these would be about 30%. So do not rely on this and only use it as a general guide for what types of questions may come.

I like that this manual deep dives into the PE Civil Reference Handbook and the solutions reference the location in the manual to find the appropriate equations. There's a lot of stuff hidden in that reference book that can be hard to find if you don't know where to look. The questions seem to be in line with the general difficulty of the exam, as well. Unfortunately, there are a few questions with wrong solutions ranging from arithmetic errors to incorrect methodology. A good practice book, but make sure to verify your answers and methods
