Q: I need something like this where size remains permanent (not deflatable). Any suggestions?

I really like mine which is a 4-pound. Has remained it's size since I have received about 4 month ago. Recommend. Hope this is helpful!

Q: can you slam this ball into a concrete wall?

Would not suggest it. Since the sand is moving inside, over time, I could see it burst. It will not bounce; it would hit concrete and likely drop to the ground without rolling away...if that helps.

Q: Is this considered a medicine ball?

No it is not. It is a fitness ball and much smaller than a medicine ball.

Q: How firm is the ball? Would it be firm enough to work/loosen pressure points similar to how you would use a roam roller?

I have the five pound ball. I'm not sure the size of the two pound ball. The material they are made out of I really don't believe they would glide over the skin easily. Maybe with oil or lotion it would work. They remind me of stress balls you make out of flour and balloons with a thicker exterior. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
