Very high quality for the price, negatives are plastic parts and fairly sharp rule edges but can’t complain for the price. Accurate for square when carefully lined up with the 90 degree mark as checked with my reference Woodpeckers square. But if accuracy is vital then would recommend checking against a reliable square.

Ideal for woodworking

Had high hopes, stupidly thinking buying one that wasn't the cheapest it'd do the job. Big mistake, as you can see from the photo it's so small your average DIYer will need binoculars to read it. It's relatively sturdy but trust me it's one of those things that will get thrown in the bottom of the toolbox or back of the drawer and never seen again.Take my advice and go look in a shop and get something that you will be able to read and use again

Read description this is cheap plastic to mimic other branded ones with anodised aluminium. Very cleverly worded stating stainless steel so many times but that is just the ruler which when checked against micrometer is out all over. Great if your not a joiner and need a cheap angle finder square but dont buy thinking this will last

This is a very useful tool and a useful addition to my toolbox. Its nicely made and feels good in the hand.

I have occasional use for a bevel gauge and I have one in my tool kit that’s been there for many years. It’s serviceable and I think I’ll probably carry on using it for a few more years yet. It’s not that I don’t like this new one. I love it. But I don’t think I’ll be able to bring myself to use it. It’s too nice. It is superbly made, almost a work of art.As an everyday tool I would use the bevel gauge but I don’t think I would ever use the dovetail gauge, I’ve never cut a dovetail joint and I don’t have any plans to cut one anytime soon. The fastener keeps the gauge rock solid during use and it is a vast improvement on the old fashioned type with a butterfly wing nuts.The gauge arrives in a box lined with foam. The manufacturers must also think this gauge is in a different league to run of the mill gauges. I recommend this NS Juvyig gauge. Primarily as a well crafted precision instrument. But also as a tool that has been designed to be aesthetically pleasing.

Not pleased with the product. Bevel slider had sharp edges as if pressed in a die. Fold out dovetail giudes were made of cheap brass coloured plastic. Sent back for full refund which was honoured
