Purchased this item to begin a new hair regimen regarding my short, salt\pepper, and low porosity hair. Because I had split ends as well, and had not trimmed regularly over the past 5 years, I knew I had to do something because of non-hair growth. I didn't want all my hair cut short to tidy up the ends, so the hope is that this product will help with mending my hair until major growth begins.The product smells good, and I apply it weekly after my regular conditioner, or after my deep conditioning process. I apply to my ends, of course, and comb through my rat tail comb. I also cut a small amount of ends off because there was a need, but regular usage since early February identifies that my ends are looking much better with less hair breaking off. I'll continue its use until I can see major results, some months up the road.

I have really bad dead ends. Having to cut inches off every time I go in for a trim. Boo! Love the smell on this. Pretty sure this has helped with my ends not being as bad as well.

So I ordered one of those split enders the expensive brushes that remove split ends and was totally letdown. But at the same time I also this and was blown away by the amount of damage that it covered up I wouldn’t say that it mends the split ends because it’s I don’t think that that’s possible but it made it looked as if there were none. I am super impressed and I usually don’t write reviews. GO GET YOU SOME AND END YOUR SPLIT ENDS!
