It's a little more dense then other filaments but omg is it gorgeous and still glows even when made into more of a solid item, though needs more light when it's solid. All around an amazing filament so far.

This filament printed great. I dried it for one hour before using. I have had no stringing, no bubbles or any issues with this filament. I am using it on my bamboo A1 mini with the AMS system.

I was a little skeptical when I bought this, knowing that silk filaments are either a hit or miss. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this filament printed out great on my Bambu Lab A1. There were no tangles or air bubbles, and the color came out stunning. It does come in much smaller spools, and the colors don't print mixed (like if you printed a circle the one half would be one color, and the second half would be the second color with minimal mixing in between) but I would honestly buy this filament again.

Updated review 5/12/25. I was contacted by Amolen customer service because I left the review below (which I did not edit) stating that the weight was off on something I ordered. They offered a refund or replacement when I sent pictures showing how I weighed it, which I thought was really above and beyond, because I did in my original review make a point to say I would still use their products despite the one-time experience.Original review below:This was a decent filament, it printed nicely. I generally like Amolen products, but I put a project on my printer, calibrated to use about 5% less than the full spool weight (190 grams in the slicer, which tends to be pretty accurate, and I use a kitchen scale to measure), and was surprised when it ran out early. Well, I weighed the empty spool against the remaining ones, and they were each around 180 grams! I'm really disappointed. Even more so when considering that I paid for 750 grams of filament almost double what a full 1000 kg costs. I'll be keeping a closer eye on the quality control for a while now.

We loved this so much we bought it again, however the second batch is turning out to be a different experience. We bought the exact same thing, however this batch is not shiny. Almost matte-like finish compared to the first order. I have a pic showing a piece we had to glue together and you can tell the difference in the filaments. Shiny side is the first order, matte is the second. We have also lost a few prints midway through now because of poor spooling. A lot of kinks and overlaps that jam the filament. If we could trust the consistency of the products, we would highly recommend. But unfortunately, I think two purchases is all we will be doing.

Wouldn't know how the filament performs because if you have a P1 system with the AMS you can't use it. The spool is too small and too thin and I can't find an adapter to work with it after printing off a couple that don't work.Update: this is an extremely gracious company and very tuned in to their product on Amazon as they saw my review and issued a refund very quickly on their own accord. They have made a fan of me but should probably include that they're smaller schools will not work on an AMS system or maybe include or sell a adapters because the three I downloaded and printed were for older different size of their spools and none worked. I am going to look for some of their full-sized spools and purchase them. Highly recommend the company but not the smaller spools if you use AMS.
