Absolutely worth the price
Nothing but good things to say about these socks and this brand. I have a quite a few socks from them and I will only buy Darn tough again in the future. The socks are very high quality and keep my feet plenty warm. I'm not in a super cold environment but I do work outside in borderline freezing weather. The sock is not super thick and give you decent grip for a wool sock. They're plenty comfortable, being worn for 10 hours shifts mostly standing. Darn Tough also have an excellent return policy. I will be buying more.

Best socks I have ever owned
I got 2 pairs 3 years ago and bought 5 more this year. The only way to tell which pairs are 3 years old are the ever so slight fading on the Darn Tough branding. The black hasn't faded and the fit has stayed the same. They don't slide or bunch even working in a factory 8-10 hours a day in steel toe boots. They are soft and comfortable even the ones that are 3 years old don't feel any different than the brand new ones. They don't make my feet sweat even in 100°+ heat and in winter my feet stay warm. My coworkers think I am crazy for spending so much on socks but my feet don't hurt at the end of the day and even when soaking wet I am not uncomfortable. Worth every penny and if I do ever need more than a week worth of socks I will buy more. I do wish they were a little higher up my leg. The Steely might have been better for the environment but I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Best socks I have ever worn
Best socks! I used get Bombas and they are way too thin and get holes way too fast. These are worth investing in. My feet would smell and sweat in cotton socks. I got 7 pairs of the low cut socks and have worn one pair every single day for the last two years and none of them have holes. I no longer have smelly feet and my feet are not sweaty. I have a pair on as we speak. The size is good, moisture wicking for sure, they look good, they're soft, stretchy but still compress very well. They also have heavier weight if you want them. Get them!

Great Socks
These are the only socks that my son-in-law will wear. He says they are very comfortable and warm and lasts a very long time.

Pricey, Quality, but very snug.
So This is my 4th darn tough purchase, I bought a second pair of these. The other two were a different style and far too small for me. Like painfully small. These are very very snug to get on, especially after washing. Like I have to fight to get them on. They will go and they do stretch a little once wearing them. Then once you wash them its the same thing all over. Not sure how long that will last. Been through 3-4 washings now. Darn Tough did reach out to me on the other purchase after I emailed them. They actually called a couple times until I talked to them on the phone. No other clothing company I know of does that. They did offer to switch them out. I misplaced one sock and my dog stole the other so I never bothered. They are very pricey. Almost $100 for 3-4 pairs depending on price fluctuations when you buy. I cannot speak to the longevity but they do have a warranty. I have some other boot socks and they are snug but only half as snug as these. I'm slightly afraid they are still too tight. I got this color on sale compared to the others so I ended buying the second pair after the first were tried on. Feel they should be about 15% bigger so its not so snug. However not had any issues as a result yet. They can be a little warm in the heat, and not super warm in the cold below 50. I knocked a star off because of the cost, and the snugness. I have had other socks brand new that would have ripped because of the force required to put these on. These don't tear. At least no sign of that yet, nor snapping threads. I bought too other brands that were too small as well even though they say they fit that size. these are made in the USA and hopefully that does not change ever.

Worth it!
Love these socks! They are my husband’s go-to socks. He is former military and now a firefighter, and is super picky about what he wears on his feet. Great quality, wash and dry well, fit as expected, and last longer than any other we’ve tried without losing their quality. Absolutely worth the extra cost since they last years of weekly wear!
