I'd recommend this product.
Nice, as described, the strainer strains even the smallest bits out of the grease/oil but doesn't affect the drainage of the oil. It has a catch can that goes under the oil container to keep from messing up your cabinet flooring. Definitely recommend as of now.

Holds 1.75l in real world use
Needed this to filter and store oil from my deep fryer. Looked small upon arrival so I measured it out with water to test its capacity. Realistically, this thing holds 1.75l of liquid below the filter. Sure, it holds 2l but that would be filled to the very top and the filter would be submerged and you would be spilling oil everywhere. It just so happens my Presto fryer holds 1.75l of oil so this is perfect for my application.
