I wasn't happy at first because at the bottom it felt a little loose but nothing a tiny piece of bi-adesive tape can't fix. Overall the uniqueness is that all buttons are clearly marked with their function. Competitive products I had in the past are not. The rubber is thick enough to prevent damages and keep the camera as good as the first day you bought it. For many years I had all my cameras with these protectors and when I sold it I was able to get the "as new condition" price offered. That alone is worth the small investment

This skin has a nice feel to it, but the only issue I have is how hard it is to put a speedlite or trigger in the hot-shoe.

I like the concept to add durability to the camera, but this just doesn't fit tightly enough. It slips around when you try to hold the camera and operate the controls. Had to return the two I bought.

This protective case is a great way to keep your Z8 looking like new. The rubber like texture ensures that your Z8 stays in your grip at all times. Some of the buttons are still visible when the illumination switch is activated. This case keeps dirt, grit and grime from getting into the cracks and crevices of your camera, especially around the buttons. The one concern that i have with this case is that when you are shooting video, it seems like it heats up faster. The Z8 suffers with heat dispersion as it is, so if you are shooting video, i would not advise using this sleeve. This is a good case to protect against the elements, and common wear and tear.

Picked up this silicone case for my Z8. It's got good coverage, however, if you need to use a cable connection it might not be the most convenient case. At the base, you will want to attach your plate after adding the silicone case on - if you use a small quick-release plate, as I do, you may want to cut out that portion or allow it to hang off at the bottom front of the camera. Overall, if you're just using the camera as a camera, then this is silicone case is a great option to protect your Z8 from dents, scratches, scuffs, and other wear and tear.
