Perfect product for your outdoor camera away from the house.
Bought this solar panel in order to set up video of my beehive in conjunction with a solar powered WiFi extender. I am amazed at the battery life, and the solar collection ability with overcast skies. I have had the panel system up for 36 hours and have not had an outage yet. Great product, easy to hook up to nest camera, and the price is spot on. It works great, and the size is perfect for a small area while still collecting plenty of sun.

Works great!
This was very easy to install and connected as solar, almost immediately. Make sure your camera is fully charged before connecting for the first time. It’s been a month or so now and we have no issues.

Works perfect! Self contained wireless camera solution.
I have a few NEST cameras at our house. The first 2 were the wired versions - which required drilling a rather large hole in our stucco wall(the ferrite lead and plug on the USB cable is larger than the chord). To reach more areas in our back yard, and farther out front on our street, we needed the battery versions of NEST camera. The two battery cameras in our yard work for about a month between battery charges, at which point we have to take them down and plug them in overnight. We get lazy and don’t put them back up for a day or so. So that means we are without cameras for up to 3 days a month. We put another NEST battery outdoor camera up on a tree out front. Because of the increased activity out front(cars driving by, people walking, etc) the battery on that one only lasts 1 week. That is unsustainable(1 week on, 3 days off). So, I got this solar panel after reading reviews.Installation:It went up easy, just a couple screws. I tossed the little screws that came with it for my own GRK screws. It comes with a long (too long) cable, so you COULD mount it far away from the camera for better sun orientation. But, I just zip-tied the extra chord behind the panel. Some parts of the mount are plastic, so you must be careful. The entire thing is wobbly until all tightened down, mostly so you can orient it(ball joint clamped down by turning plastic collar). It holds up to the breezes we have here and hasn’t moved in 1 month. But being on a ladder with a drill/driver and trying to orient the panel is tricky. You may have to assemble everything on the ground first, screw it in, then adjust it. Definitely wish I’d bundled up the chord before getting on a ladder and trying to do it in the air.Performance:Once plugged in - it has the exact NEST chord connection - the camera immediately recognized it. The battery symbol went away and the camera reads “Solar power” in the app. Works perfect and I haven’t had to recharge it at all. Just point the panel South and tilt it to your latitude for max sun exposure. It feels like the missing piece that NEST forgot. The camera is now totally wirelesss and self contained. Amazing!

Does not keep camera charged
I do not recommend this product. I’ve had it for almost a year now and my Google nest camera frequently states it is inoperable because the battery is dead. I get plenty of sunshine, the solar panel is optimally placed to get charged and I have other solar lights for example that work perfectly well in similar locations for years now, so the sun is not the issue.

Affordable and easy to setup!
Easy to install and significantly more affordable than the big name brand version of this. Even when partly cloudy it's been able to keep the battery level stable. Something to be aware of is that this will never fully charge your battery but it will maintain it to about 70% and provide trickle charging after that, it's as designed and it's how the Nest cameras handle all solar chargers. The build quality of the solar panel is good enough and it handles rain okay, the quality of the stand itself isn't the best but I'm not planning on moving it around a lot anyway so it's a non-issue on my side.

A perfect solution for a rechargeable camera that is adaptable to solar charging.
This was a fantastic solution for an outdoor camera that I have and is battery chargeable however there is no power outlet near the location of this camera. So far the solar charging has been working perfectly I would recommend this product.

Good with issues
Of the three that were purchased, I got one panel that would not charge the Nest Camera, which i had to do a return/exchange. The other 2 panels worked excellent. Wish I didn't have to do a return, but such is life. Other that the defective panel they appear to be of a good quality, the mount is an alloy, but the frame is plastic, which is not what the description states. I hope these will last through the ever changing weather. Did I get the correct panel?????

Easy Install: Plug & Charge
Plugged it in and worked as expected. Looks like a standard 1/4" screw hole if you want to use another bracket or mounting device.
