Absolutely essential when it comes to slicing meat etc. protection from cutting meat particularly thinly is first rate, only need to use one glove in case you slip, gloves are not handed.

I've used these six times with a mandoline, which had lost its sliding protective glide. All I can say is that I've used one of these gloves to slice carrots etc with growing confidence. 2 stars for being disingenuous. 4 pcs means 4 gloves, not 4 pairs. Other than that the gloves are fine. No PU palm which I didn’t want as they conduct the cold freezing your hands

Can’t comment on protection as they don’t fit a normal human hand
